Brad Pitt is finally clapping back at Angelina Jolie. After staying silent for months, the Hollywood actor has slammed his ex-wife by saying she is out of control. Reports indicate that Brad is hitting out at Angelina while his legal team is asking a court in their custody case to have their documents sealed. Angelina filed for divorce back in September following an altercation between Brad and their son Maddox Jolie-Pitt on a flight from Paris to Minneapolis.
According to TMZ, Brad’s legal team said that Angelina “appears to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children’s best interest.” If that weren’t enough, Brad’s lawyer also stated that Angelina “has no self-regulating mechanism to preclude sensitive information from being placed in the public record, or she has other motives.”
Sources close to the situation have said that Angelina is determined to destroy Brad Pitt’s career and public reputation. That’s why her team is supposedly behind the nasty and very public smear campaign against him. In fact, several reports indicated that Angelina pulled the plug on their marriage because of Brad’s drug and substance abuse and addiction.
Yet, Brad is making it clear that he wants to keep their custody battle private. His legal team insists that it’s Angelina Jolie who is releasing all the information about their case to the public. That’s why they are asking the Los Angeles Superior Court judge in their case to seal the records of their six children, as Brad thinks it violates their privacy.
Reports further indicate that both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are due back in court next month for a hearing. So far, Brad has not made any comments about his custody battle with Angelina. Instead, he told reporters during the premiere of his film ‘Allied’ that he is thankful for all his support from fans.
