“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Steve (Stephen Nichols) will be stunned when the charges against him are suddenly dropped on a new episode next week. It looks like the judge will agree that Ava (Tamara Braun) was a crazy stalker. She would’ve tormented Steve and his family until the end of time if he hadn’t intervened.
Steve will be thrilled to know he can remain free with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).
Unfortunately, Steve will trade good news for bad news. DOOL spoilers indicate that Kayla will promptly break up with Steve. She’ll call off the engagement and insist that they should go their separate ways. Huh?! This is obviously a strange move on Kayla’s part.
Perhaps all the dirty details of Ava and Steve’s sex session will come up in court. That might remind Kayla that she’s not ready to let that go just yet. Steve gave Ava what she wanted in an effort to secure Kayla’s release, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to swallow. Kayla can’t stand the thought of Steve taking her ruthless enemy to bed.
However, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that there could be a deeper explanation for Kayla’s abrupt decision. It seems Kayla will get checked out by Fynn (Alexander Bruszt) at the hospital. He’ll give Kayla updates on a serious medical condition that she’s unknowingly been dealing with.
“Days” spoilers say Kayla will find out she has a subdural hematoma. In layman’s terms, it means blood is gathering between the brain and its outer lining. This is usually associated with a traumatic brain injury and it typically progresses slowly. DOOL is getting all scientific on us with this storyline.
Since Ava whacked Kayla in the head with a candlestick, that’s most likely how this developed. A plethora of symptoms can result from this condition. The big one we might need to consider is a change in personality. Could Kayla’s brain injury play a part in her decision to push Steve away? It certainly can’t help.
Luckily, things should get back to normal eventually. Steve will undoubtedly be concerned if he hears about Kayla’s medical issue. Maybe Steve can show his support and prove his love. Once Kayla’s brain heals, she may realize she made a mistake when she pushed Steve away.
Could we hear wedding bells for these two soon? We sure hope so! If there was ever a soap couple that belonged together, it’s Steve and Kayla. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see what the future holds for this pairing.
