‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Orpheus Takes Marlena's Deadly Pill, Fakes His Own Death – Anne Falls Hard for Lucas

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, October 19, tease that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will find himself in a fierce faceoff. He was about to murder John (Drake Hogestyn), but Steve (Stephen Nichols) had other plans. Now it’s two against one and Orpheus doesn’t stand a chance.

Orpheus will put up a good fight, but Steve and John won’t let him win. Once they subdue Orpheus, they’ll head to the police station. The people of Salem just want some peace. John and Steve will hope that they can turn Orpheus over to the cops and put this madness behind them.

Unfortunately, things won’t be quite that simple. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Orpheus will manage to get a grip on Marlena (Deidre Hall). He’ll try to take her hostage, but that’s not going to work. Orpheus will definitely be outnumbered when he prepares to make a bold move.

As the walls close in, Orpheus will reach in Marlena’s medical bag and pull out a deadly pill. Orpheus will gulp down the drug to avoid being sent back to prison. He doesn’t want to sit in a cell and think about his failure. At least this will give Orpheus control of his own destiny.

Of course, we can’t count out the idea that this is some sort of final trick. Orpheus is a crafty fellow and we know Halloween chaos is brewing. A magic show will go terribly wrong, which means it could be a prime opportunity for a “ghost” appearance.

If Orpheus somehow fakes his death, John and Marlena could be in for a big surprise. Then again, maybe Orpheus’ reign of terror will finally be over when he takes that pill. With Orpheus, it’s tough to say!

Regardless, Marlena and John will feel like the danger is over for now. They’ll hold each other close as they reunite. This should be the calm before DOOL’s next storm. Salem never gets much of a break from peril.

Meanwhile, JJ (Casey Moss) will be in bad shape thanks to that gunshot wound. He should be in a lot of pain, but he’ll be on the mend soon. As JJ recovers, some stunning secrets could emerge. Days fans will want to stay tuned for the bombshells ahead.

At the DiMera mansion, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) will be caught off guard by a visitor. Anne (Meredith Scott Lynn) will need a place to stay for the night and Lucas won’t see the harm in letting her stick around. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Anne will develop a huge crush on Lucas during this encounter.

Alas, Anne’s love will be unrequited. Lucas is in love with Adrienne (Judi Evans) and they’re getting ready for their wedding. Nevertheless, Justin (Wally Kurth) still has strong feelings for his ex and he’ll sprint across town to make sure she’s safe.

Days buzz hints that Justin could cause Lucas and Adrienne’s relationship to hit a snag down the road.
