Hot General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the cliffhanger Friday, August 19 episode reveal that Jason shocks Liz, Jake shares secrets, and Jordan and Curtis study the killer case. Paul blames Jordan for not finding the GH perpetrator and Claudette and Griffin are caught making out!
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) delivers Jake Webber (Hudson West) back to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Jake blabs that Jason has big news for her. Of course, Liz already knows about the pregnancy but Jason and Sam Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) engagement is another shocker.
Later, Jake and Liz sit down for a big mom and son talk and GH spoilers tease that Jake is final confident enough to open up to his mom about his time on Cassadine Island. Later, when Liz reels from Jason’s news and from the secrets Jake spilled, she gets much-needed support.
Franco (Roger Howarth) is at GH and will again step up for Liz even though she just called off their romance. Will Jason and Jake’s news change her perspective on dumping Franco when Liz needs someone to lean on and Franco is there to help and act as her friend?
Franco also has a run in with Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) when he sees them in the lab at GH as they talk about the serial killer. Franco overhears their chatter and asks if they have a lead on the killer.
Will Val and Curtis think this is suspicious? Franco wants the GH killer caught so people will stop suspecting him. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) also wants to know what’s going on with the case and takes Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) to task for not figuring out who’s the killer.
Out at Wyndemere, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindström) breaks off the kiss with Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and says that won’t happen again. Does Kevin feel like he’s taking advantage of her vulnerability? These two will continue to heat up according to General Hospital spoilers.
Curtis and Valerie will also heat up more today as they get closer while Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is ready to explode. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan walk in on Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) kissing and their jaws drop.
It probably won’t take Nathan long to figure out that Griffin is the guy he shot since he’s got a gunshot scar and was just making out with his ex-wife plus Nathan knows Griffin has some shame in his past. Maxie and Nathan will be floored and things get ugly.
There are accusations aplenty to throw around. Maxie will be outraged that Nathan shot a priest and Nathan will be outraged Griffin didn’t tell him. Everyone will make accusations at Claudette and this will be a big fat mess that could wreck Nathan and Maxie’s wedding plans.
Griffin was just warming up to Claudette’s love confession when Maxie and Nathan walked in on them, so will them being caught mean there’s no chance for the hunky former priest and the bad girl? How many more lives can Claudette rip apart with her antics?
