‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Paul Drugs Alexis Before Testimony - Rigs Trial - Julian Found Not Guilty

New General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Julian Jerome (William deVry) will be found not guilty and Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) will go off the rails while testifying and seal the verdict because Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) drugged her!

Since Paul is being blackmailed by Ava Jerome (Maura West) because of his GH serial killer activities, he had to throw the case so that Julian would NOT be found guilty. But Paul couldn’t outright throw the case because that would implicate him.

But clearly, Paul is a master planner because he has undermined the case in two different ways – one that came into play already and one that will launch tomorrow. It’s no wonder that the info on the warrant came into Scotty Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) hands.

Paul set that up. Remember when Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) insisted that the warrant was accurate? She said, “Your honor that’s impossible – I filed the warrant myself – I know the address is correct!” Jordan was probably correct.

But it would be a simple matter for Paul to tamper with the warrant documents so that it showed the wrong address. Not only did that get the recorded confession thrown out, but that should also knock the murder weapon out of contention as well.

That just leaves the testimony of Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) to convict Julian. But we’ll find out soon that Paul took care of that too. Did you notice when Paul came up to Alexis before she was called to the stand, he handed her a cup of water?

Alexis gulped down all the water and crumpled up the cup and left it on her seat before she went up to testify. The cameras zoomed in on the cup left on her seat – that wasn’t an accidental shot. That was a clue to GH viewers that Paul had done something slimy.

When Paul handed her the water, Alexis asked if the trial was going badly. Paul said, “Don’t worry. I promise you everything is going to work out.” What Paul meant is that it’s going to work out for him – he doesn’t care about anyone else.

Once Alexis takes the stand, the drugs should start to take effect and when Paul asks probing questions, she’ll begin to act erratically. But when we’ll really see the fireworks is when Scotty cross-examines Alexis. Scotty notices that Alexis is off her game.

General Hospital spoilers show that Alexis is unfocused and out of sorts and Scotty will happily tell Julian that Alexis is a “basket case” and then he goes hard at her on the stand. Depending on what Paul gave Alexis, there’s no telling how nutty she’ll go.

If Paul roofied her – which seems likely – she should be confused and utterly out of it. With no recorded confession, no murder weapon and no solid testimony from the only witness to his confession, Julian’s “not guilty” verdict should be a slam dunk.

Paul rests the state’s case tomorrow and then it’s up to the jury. There seems little doubt that Julian will walk out of court next week a free man, but what then? GH spoilers tease Julian moves in with Ava since Alexis won’t roll out the welcome mat.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) goes off the deep end and plans to kill Julian since the justice system failed. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) flips out and begs him not to. Then Sonny and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) get into it over te revenge plan.
