New General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) returns to Port Charles this week and make a beeline for Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford). Is Valentin the key to making all of Nina’s dreams come true? See how Charlotte Bolland (Scarlett Fernandez) plays into this.
We know that Nina wants a kid more than anything and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) just refused to help her illegally buy a baby. Nina hopelessly put up her baby name book and looked like she didn’t know where else to turn. Luckily, Valentin is the answer to her prayers.
Nina really liked Valentin even when she found out he was a bad guy. But now that he’s out of jail (thanks to powerful friends in high places) they can transform that smoking hot one-night-stand into a real relationship – and possibly a family. It’s all about Charlotte.
Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) is a liar on an epic scale. She lied and said Nathan West (Ryan Paevey was Charlotte’s dad and she’s lying when she said Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) is her father. Nathan showed up to confront Claudette in front of Griffin last week.
But did you see that Claudette agreed right away that Griffin is the father after Nathan said he’s not Charlotte’s daddy so Griffin must be? Claudette had a shell-shocked look on her face then jumped on the bandwagon. But we all know Claudette is still lying.
Early next week, Claudette splits town after Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is kidnapped by what we assume is one of Valentin’s henchmen. Also, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) gets news that Wyndemere has sold. Did Valentin buy the Cassadine castle and will settle down there?
Will Nina be queen of the castle and will little Charlotte be their princess? The fact is no one knows how old Charlotte is. Claudette could have hooked up with Valentin five minutes after Nathan and Griffin both dumped her and she could have gotten pregnant right away.
If Charlotte is Valentin’s daughter, that would explain two things. First, it explains why Valentin is relentlessly pursuing the kid. Second, it explains why Claudette admitted too quickly that Griffin is Charlotte’s kid. She’s covering her tracks.
No one would feel sorry for Claudette if they found out Charlotte is Valentin’s kid and Claudette ran off with her. They might even feel a bit sorry for Valentin since Griffin and Nathan have both been done wrong by her. Then circle back to Nina who wants a child more than anything.

Nina getting her mitts on Charlotte was already foreshadowed. Remember Nina offered to let Charlotte stay with her after Maxie said she and Nathan aren’t equipped to be full-time parents. Nina already was thinking about having Charlotte in her life.
Once Valentin establishes that Charlotte is his kid and gets custody of her, he’ll need a mommy for his little girl. Nina would love to step into that role. She already likes Valentin and would love to play house with him and his daughter.
