General Hospital (GH) spoilers are whispering this week about the Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) love fest. These two women are bitter enemies conniving their entire lives to get what they want. And, Lucy has some incriminating information on Ava. Lucy knows that Ava switched up Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) meds and caused him to become irrational and consequently was killed.
Ava has a lot to lose, her life for example, if Lucy goes to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) with evidence about Morgan’s pills. General Hospital spoilers know that Carly would rip her head off and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would have her assassinated immediately or do it himself.
GH fans recall that the “hate affair” between Lucy and Ava started a long time ago. You would think they would be BFF’s, both being manipulative shrews, but they each have aspirations and will step on anyone, even each other to meet their goals.
After Morgan’s death, Carly found his journal with entries validating that Morgan was taking his bi-polar meds but apparently they were no longer working. Carly is totally puzzled by this and is committed to finding the reason that Morgan was acting so erratically.
Of course, Carly doesn’t know that Ava switched the meds for placebos which had no stabilizing effect on his bi-polar illness which made Morgan spin out of control. So, Ava decided to toss the medicine bottle in the garbage on the docks of Port Charles but didn’t know that Lucy was watching from nearby. Lucy picked up the bottle being the unscrupulous vixen, decided to use it against Ava and starting texting Ava to scare her.
Soon Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) joins the plot. Ava needs Scott to romance Lucy and get the medicine bottle away from her. So off he goes to help out a friend. But not for the reason of helping Ava, he needs her around for occasional favors. Scott gets Lucy into bed, as many times before, and manages to steal the meds and returns them to Ava.
But, all may not be as it seems. Ava might have the medicine bottle but Lucy is no lame brain dimwit. She knew what Scotty was after and let him find the bottle. Unfortunately for Ava, she thinks she’s got one over on Lucy but Ava underestimated Lucy’s cleverness.
Lucy still holds it over Ava because she still has the real medicine bottle. When Lucy figures out what she wants from Ava, she will go in for the kill. But you bet it’s going to be a big favor. Do you think it will be money? Lucy loves money. Will it be control, power or what?
