“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that it’s a green light for Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and JaSam is back on. We also know from recent GH video spoilers that Sam will be out of the hospital and in Jason’s arms for Valentine’s week.
With them finally getting physical, can we expect to see a Jason-Sam baby anytime soon? After all, even though they have Danny Morgan together, her pregnancy was haunted by the assumption that the baby was not his and then Jason was presumed dead for so long.
It would be amazing to see Sam carrying Jason’s baby and him involved in the whole process. Jason’s memories are gone of Sam’s pregnancy and Liz Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) with Jake Spencer (James Nigbor) plus there was so much secrecy because of Jason’s mob life.
But now that Jason is free and clear of the mob and his corrupt ties to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he and Sam could add to their family under ideal conditions. Of course she struggled to get pregnant with Danny and had to have surgery for the gunshot wound.
But since she was able to carry Danny, why not another child? GH fans would love to see Jason enjoying a pregnancy with Sam and being present for the birth of his child and nurturing it. Jason has always loved kids, even when he was Stone Cold and was watching out for other people’s children.
The new Jason would be an amazing partner for pregnant Sam and a loving dad. It might be a big adjustment for little Jake since he’s off the rails right now, but they could probably get the kid straightened out before Sam delivered.
As happy as a baby with Jason would make Sam, though, it would devastate Liz. We already see her crumbling as she’s confronted with the realization that Jason belongs with Sam. Over the years, she and Sam have schemed and lied as they fought over Jason.
But this second accident with Jake and another medical tragedy seems to have finally snapped Liz out of the delusion that Jason is meant to be with her. The only way she can keep him around is with lies, so she has to clean up her act and let him go.
We already see affection blossoming between Jason and Sam as she recovers at GH from her near immolation, and this will grow in coming days. By the time she’s released, we’ll see sparks flying and JaSam really heating things up.
So maybe it’s first comes love, second comes marriage, then comes amnesia, tragedy, head injury – and finally a baby carriage. Fingers crossed that GH showrunners deliver what we want and put Jason, Sam and Danny in a happy family unit – then add a new baby soon.
