Hot new General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) will soon discover that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) got naked with Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) and confronts his former employer and best-friend about what happened.
The problem is, Sonny doesn’t know what really happened. He knows he was boozing and then woke up in bed with Nelle and neither had on clothes. She cried and said they were both lonely after he told her he’s not attracted to her. The tears worked and Sonny stopped asking questions.
Nelle begged Sonny not to tell Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) so now Nelle has cleverly maneuvered Sonny into thinking they’re keeping a secret together. Jason will overhear something between Nelle and Sonny and assume that Sonny cheated.
Jason is big on jumping to conclusions lately plus Sonny has a history of cheating so he may think Sonny was angry at Carly, upset about Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and took Carly’s assistant to his bed for revenge.
Other than Nelle being nothing like Sonny’s usual type, it’s not that outrageous of an assumption. After all, think about Sonny, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and the creepy crypt sex. Jason will think the worst and confronts Sonny.
Sonny gets defensive and he and Jason will have a major showdown. Is there any explanation Sonny can offer that would justify what Jason thinks Sonny did? Jason and Sonny have been hot and cold lately. They are trying to rebuild a friendship within strange parameters.
Jason wants nothing to do with the mob and Sonny is still annoyed that Jason has shunned that part of their shared past. Remember when Sonny nastily told Jason that Morgan would be alive if he did the hit on Julian Jerome (William deVry) instead of Sonny having to hire it out.
Even after Sonny told him he didn’t want his help and said they weren’t friends, Jason worked hard to find out who set the bomb that killed his namesake. Jason will be upset that while he was working hard, Sonny was bedding the assistant.
Jason might threaten to tell Carly what Sonny has done but it doesn’t seem likely that he would follow through with it. Jason knows telling Carly would needlessly hurt her and he doesn’t want to do that. As long as Carly and Sonny are split, he might agree to keep it quiet.
But you can bet Jason will tell Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and they will keep their eye on Nelle. If Sam decides to investigate the girl, she might dig up what’s going on with her, more on her supposedly dead parents, and what she’s up to messing with the Corinthos family.
