General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Jason Stunned By Jake's Rage at Sam - Fears Son Could Be a Mini Stone Cold?

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) will be stunned by Jake Spencer’s (James Nigbor) rage directed towards Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) who he clearly sees as an obstacle to his parents being together and his family intact.

Jason will have a talk with Jake, who clearly tells his dad that Sam is not all she’s cracked up to be. Jason will try to get Jake to see reason and remind him that Sam is his the mother of his brother Danny. But Jason has no idea the depth of emotions churning in his son.

Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) will take Jake to see a couple of shrinks who will, in turn, prescribe art therapy as a way for Jake to work out some of his issues. But the art sessions with Franco (Roger Howarth) will reveal that Jake is much more disturbed than anyone imagines.

Liz will have to break the news of this frightening diagnosis to Jason and they’ll have to deal with it as co-parents but it may hit Jason much harder than Liz in many ways. The first issue is acknowledging that Jake has a festering rage inside of him, the second is to consider the source.

Everyone may assume it’s Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) influence during Jake’s tenure on Cassadine Island to blame, but Jason may have another take on it and blame himself for Jake’s issues. Consider this – Jason has been tormented since he found out his true identity as a hired gun.

General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Jason Stunned By Jake's Rage at Sam - Fears Son Could Be a Mini Stone Cold?

Jason knows he’s killed in the past, even though he can’t recall those events. But there are enough incidences in his current memories for him to know the depth of his capacity for violence. Plus Jason recently heard from Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) about his “Stone Cold” persona.

Will Jason see Stone Cold when he looks at little Jake? Could Jason believe that he is the one responsible for Jake’s mental issues – does he think that he passed a killer gene to Jake and now his son is a mini-Stone Cold?

Jason has such inner demons about his past behavior that he may take all this weight onto himself. After all, Jake is just a little kid, so predisposition towards violence may seem like an obvious answer to Jason. The end result is that Jason will be dedicated to fixing Jake.

The last thing Jason wants is for Jake to end up like him – a killer with a body count a mile high behind him. Jason will be very involved in getting Jake the helps he needs and that means that he’ll have to be closer with Liz, by default.

In a way, this will reward Jake’s behavior because he gets the outcome he wants. How deep is Jake able to scheme and plot? If he sees that his antics keep his dad around, why would Jake stop them? Will he resist his therapy because he equates a cure with his dad moving farther from Liz and back to Sam?

The worst possible scenario in all of this is if Jake sees little Danny as the only thing tying Sam to his dad. Could Jake do something to Danny thinking, in a twisted way, that if Danny is gone, Jason will have no reason to be around Sam and he can keep his dad to himself?

Just how far will Jake go? GH spoilers tease that Sam will be in danger soon because of Jake focusing his rage on her – could Danny also be at risk? Does Liz have a mini-assassin under her roof? We also know that Sam will investigate the events at Liz’s house, at Jason’s request.

But because there’s no evidence of an external source of trouble, no signs of forced entry, etc. – Sam will accuse Liz of engineering all of this to keep Jason close by. Jake will not like that at all – the last thing he will tolerate is Sam going after his mom and making her look bad to his dad.

Is that false accusation what will trigger Jake to do something to Sam? Admittedly to Sam, the evidence does point to someone in the house – but Sam’s knee jerk is to accuse Liz and she wouldn’t think to accuse a kid. Could Sam’s jump to the wrong conclusion put her life at risk?

What do you think GH fans, does Jake have his dad Jason’s killer instinct? Or is all of this Helena’s fault? Share your thoughts in the comments below and come back to CDL often for more “General Hospital” spoilers and news.
