New General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we might soon get some closure on who is Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) real mom. Turns out Madeline West (Donna Mills) killed Silas Clay (Michael Easton) to get hold of Nina Clay’s (Michelle Stafford) money but it also had to do with concealing Kiki’s mother.
Just before Madeline murdered Silas, he tested Kiki and Ava Jerome (Maura West) for a bone marrow transplant to save Ava from dying of cancer. Kiki wasn’t a match so he kidnapped Avery Jerome (Scarola twins) to get the bone marrow to save his awful ex-girlfriend.

What we didn’t see than was that Silas knew something was off about Kiki not being a match for her mother Ava. Those results are not scientifically possible. Children are always a half-match for their parents and a half-match is typically good enough to make a life-saving bone marrow donation.
So why wasn’t Kiki a match? Silas figured out that Kiki wasn’t Ava’s biological daughter and since he had access to the labs at work, Kiki’s medical records and Nina’s, he figured out that Kiki was his child with Nina and not his child with Ava.
Silas was debating whether to tell Kiki the truth when Madeline murdered him. Ava is a bad choice as a mom since she was a mob boss and supposed to be dead at that point – until she returned disguised as Denise DeMuccio.
Nina is a known nutter that kidnapped baby Avery and is totally unstable. Silas would have told Nina the truth eventually but was still confirming what he suspected when Madeline killed him. Madeline had many reasons to want the truth hidden.
Madeline wanted Nina’s money but it would have gone to Kiki instead of Madeline if something happened to Nina like death, prison, loony bin, etc. Madeline also didn’t want Nina to know that her baby survived.
Why? Kiki revealed as Nina and Silas’s kid means that Nina and Silas would be linked for life. Madeline also didn’t want Nina to know that she gave her child, born while Nina was in a coma, to Ava the evil witch that wrecked her marriage.
If Nina found out, Madeline wouldn’t get a dime and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) would not talk to her again. When Madeline murdered Silas, she thought she killed any proof of the truth about Kiki.
GH sources say Kiki will find out the ugly truth. A doctor at GH might notice a discrepancy in her records, maybe Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Or Kiki might find some notes in Silas’s belongings. Kiki needs to know the truth badly.
She feels guilty about Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and Ava has made Kiki’s pain worse. Ava’s to blame for what happened to Morgan but allows Kiki to hate herself for it. That’s just wrong. Kiki needs a better mother.
Nina needs a kid, no matter how old, because she’s going to love and lose Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) when Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) claims the girl. Nina and Kiki will find each other in coming months.
