“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers for Friday February 26 indicate that the show will start off with a literal cliffhanger as Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) considers taking his life for his role in Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) current medical crisis. Will he jump? Who can save him?
First let’s check on Kiki. Dr Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) has news for Ava Jerome (Maura West) about her daughter. Franco (Roger Howarth) stands by as support as they get the news. Will they be told definitively that she’ll survive and walk again?
Or will it be one of those knuckle biting reveals where they don’t know and must wait and see? Likely a wait and see – particularly on the paralysis. They usually have to wait for swelling to go down before they know if the spinal cord is okay.
Should Ava call Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and tell him not to toss out the wheelchair just yet? Looks like this is only one of the sources of anxiety Ava could face today. At the Port Charles PD, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) wants to arrest Ava.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is game for taking down any Jerome she can – but Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) tells them both no. Jordan wants to go around him, but Paul can always refuse to prosecute. Will Paul claim that Ava was his confidential informant and knew about the undercover operation?
Is Paul covering Ava’s butt or his own (or maybe both)? Or does he feel horrible that Kiki was shot and wants to make amends? Will the PCPD drag Ava out of GH in handcuffs or can Paul get the lady cops to back down – at least for now?
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny will argue over what’s best for Morgan. They both know he could be arrested for his role in the shooting at the docks. Carly’s worst fear is that Morgan goes to jail – remember how bad it was for Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) in Pentonville?
Will Carly and Sonny agree that Shadybrook is the better option and commit him before he’s arrested so they can claim a mental health defense? Is Carly and Sonny’s argument raging while Morgan is still missing? Do they have any idea how bad things are?
Michael is looking for his baby brother and so is Dr Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) who takes time out of his search to chastise the nurse that let Morgan loose then left the room. Who let her work on the psych ward? Doesn’t she know what restraints are there for?
As the two men race to find Morgan with no idea that he’s literally on the edge and considering ending it all, someone else finds Morgan. It’s a young woman, but who is it? Is Morgan hallucinating and seeing Kiki? Or is it his sister? Who? Looks like Morgan will be saved, but it’s close.
Also at GH, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has re-evaluated her fear of commitment in light of Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) close call. Maxie will stun Nathan with a marriage proposal but it turns out Nathan is keeping a secret that has to do with a woman. Hmm…
Also, whomever that was watching Anna is apparently still watching her. Who could that be and why is she being watched? Is this someone with her best interests at heart? Someone evaluating her? Or someone who means her harm?
