‘Notorious’ season 1 spoilers include news that Sean Combs will make a cameo appearance on the much anticipated ABC drama. Puff Daddy and news host Louise Herrick [Kate Jennings Grant] will step out for a drink or two.
Puff Daddy and Louise will enjoy a few martinis at Chateau Marmont. Sounds like the beginning of a romance. At this time ‘Notorious’ season 1 spoilers indicate that this will only be a cameo for the music mogul, but you never know what can happen in television land.
Julia George [Piper Perabo], producer of the fictional top-rated news program, will also have some interaction with Sean Combs. ‘Notorious’ spoilers for season 1 do not indicate during which episode Puff Daddy will make his cameo appearance.
Sean Combs is no stranger to acting, garnering critical acclaim for his role as Walter Lee Young in the 2008 television movie ‘A Raisin in the Sun.’ Also included in his acting credits is the 2010 comedy ‘Get Him to the Greek’ co-starring Jonah Hill and Russell Brandt.
‘Notorious’ is ABC’s most anticipated drama of the new television season. The show centers on Julia and her occasional ally, oftentimes adversary, criminal defense attorney Jake Gregorian [Daniel Sunjata]. Together the news director and attorney control and manipulate both the media and the justice system.
The series is based on the relationship between attorney Mark Geragos who most notably represented Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson, and Emmy-winning news producer Wendy Walker. Other ‘Notorious’ cast members include J. August Richards [Bradley Gregorian], Aimee Teegarden [Ella], Bryan Adrian [Scotty Castrine] and Dilshad Vadsaria [Sarah Keaton].
ABC announced that ‘Notorious’ will premiere on Thursday, September 22 at 9 p.m. This is the time slot previously held by ‘Scandal’ which was absent from ABC’s fall line-up. The Shonda Rimes created drama is currently on hiatus due to star Kerry Washington’s [Olivia Pope] real –life pregnancy.
