Does the LAPD have the murder weapon that OJ Simpson used to kill ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman? According to an all new report, the Los Angeles Police Department has in their possession a knife that was found buried on the OJ Simpson property, after the gruesome deaths of Nicole Brown and her boyfriend Ronald Goldman.
This story is so bizarre, we’re having a tough time trying to believe it. According to TMZ, a construction worker found the knife buried on OJ Simpson’s the property while he was working on the demolition of the Nicole Brown and OJ Simpson house – which no one obviously wanted to live in after what happened inside.
The construction worker gave the knife to an off-duty cop who was working security at some schmoozey Hollywood event at the house across the street from the construction site.
But, the cop never turned the knife in to the lab to check for DNA or fingerprints, instead he took it home to keep as a souvenir. That was nearly 20 years ago, now the cop who sucks at life and has been possibly holding on to the murder weapon of the most infamous unsolved case of our era – is retiring.
He happened to mention to one of his fellow cops recently that he had the knife and he was getting it framed and hanging it on his livingroom wall. The cop he told apparently has a conscious, he told the higher-ups, and they demanded the hoarder turn over the possible OJ Simpson murder weapon – which is now safe and sound in the LAPD lab and getting tests ran on it.
If this story is true – it is truly insane! What we can’t get over is … the construction worker never followed through? That case was HUGE back in the 90’s, he didn’t think it was strange that there was never any mention of the knife that he found and passed off to a random cop?
