The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that we’ll soon see more of Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) love saga. Thanks to RJ’s (Anthony Turpel) outrage, Brooke postponed her wedding to Bill (Don Diamont). They’re still planning on getting married, but they could hit a few snags before heading to the altar.
First, Bill will have some explaining to do. It looks like Bill’s favorite court clerk, Emmy (Sheryl Underwood), hasn’t heard the engagement news yet. She won’t be pleased when she learns her crush just divorced one Logan sister to marry another. There wasn’t even a window of opportunity for poor Emmy!
This will simply be a comical step toward Bill and Brooke’s nuptials. The Bold and the Beautiful is at its best when they throw in a bit of humor. Once Bill gives Emmy updates and consoles her broken heart, we’ll get down to the real issues.
There’s a good chance we haven’t heard the last of RJ’s complaints. He’s not going to suddenly approve of Bill. Brooke may decide to dismiss RJ’s grumbling, but what about her personal doubts? It seems obvious that the wedding delay was about more than pacifying an annoyed teenager.
Brooke has been growing closer to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and that could present a problem. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers pretty much confirm that some form of a “Bridge” reunion will happen. It’s just a matter of when and how.
Ridge is certainly protective of Brooke, but Bill’s shares could still come in handy. That’s especially true since Quinn (Rena Sofer) now knows she has Eric’s (John McCook) power of attorney. It’s important for the Forresters to keep Quinn from destroying the family business.
However, the “Bridge” countdown is currently in progress. That probably means that something (or someone) will get in the way of Bill and Brooke’s marriage. RJ is a contender, but perhaps he’s already done his part. It might Katie’s (Heather Tom) turn to get back in this matchmaking game. She hasn’t been involved much lately, but that could change.
B&B spoilers state that Katie and Bill will have an uncomfortable encounter. In light of their recent divorce, it’s only natural for things to be awkward. Will any old feelings be stirred up for Katie? It’s possible. It’s tough to say what might be under the surface.
Regardless, Katie won’t be a “Brill” shipper. She may do whatever she can to break them up. Pushing Brooke and Ridge together is the easiest solution. Nevertheless, Katie can’t make them accept the idea. It’s up to Ridge and Brooke to finally cave in.
Will Brooke take off her tacky sword ring and declare her love for Ridge? Will Ridge reach out instead? It might be nice to see one of those classic wedding objections. The soapier, the better!
