The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will continue to have doubts about moving forward with Bill (Don Diamont). Brooke is facing an extremely difficult situation at the moment. She obviously wants to be with Bill, but she doesn’t want to devastate Katie (Heather Tom).
Deep down, Brooke must’ve known this scenario could be coming. She wouldn’t have divulged her feelings if she didn’t hold out a little hope that Bill would feel the same way. It took Bill a while to come around, but now he’s made his choice. Bill cares about Katie, but Brooke is the one he’s truly in love with.
Brooke is still trying to wrap her head around all of this. She feels both ashamed and thrilled by the thought of a future with her perfect man. As for Bill, he doesn’t seem to feel a ton of remorse. Apparently, Bill is just that selfish. As least Brooke has the decency to grapple with a hint of guilt! It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing.
Bill has been trying to convince Brooke that they need to tell Katie everything, but he hasn’t had much success thus far. It’s doubtful that Brooke will ever gather up enough courage to come clean. Instead, we’re probably dealing with a different ending to this affair storyline.
There are a couple of ways this could go. First, we have the obvious route. Someone could learn the truth and struggle to keep quiet. Liam (Scott Clifton) would definitely be a contender. He’s been using Bill as an example of a man who respects his marriage. There may or may not be blackmail involved if Liam realizes what’s up.
Then, Bill and Brooke’s efforts to keep their secret might fail when Katie finds out anyway. Katie may walk in on Bill and Brooke making love. If not, she could simply overhear them discussing their romance. Katie might immediately go on the warpath. In other words, B&B could give us the usual soapy reveal.
However, The Bold and the Beautiful could just as easily go with an alternative. It seems like the show has been making some unexpected choices recently. Sasha (Felisha Cooper) shocked everyone by admitting she lied right after taking the pregnancy test. Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) marriage turned out to be perfectly legal after all.
Lately, B&B is zigging when you think it will zag. It keeps viewers guessing and convinces them to tune in. With that in mind, could Katie already know the truth? What if she’s playing Bill and Brooke? It would certainly be a fun and interesting twist.
There’s a chance that Katie knows or at least suspects what Bill and Brooke are up to. Maybe she’s giving them just enough rope to hang themselves. Katie has been laying on the sisterly love awfully thick. She’s always going on about how grateful she is for Brooke’s support.
Has Brooke really been that supportive though? If you call confessing your love to your sister’s husband supportive, then…um…sure. Honestly, Brooke has done nothing but drive Katie to drink and destroy her solid marriage.
Katie might want to mess with Bill as well. If Bill is willing to go down this road AGAIN, then goodbye and good riddance! Wouldn’t it be unbelievably entertaining to watch Katie turn the tables on these suckers? It’s not clear what Katie’s plan might involve, but she could undoubtedly come up with an epic payback plot.
Even if Katie doesn’t know the secret now, she might get updates later and keep the news to herself for a while. There’s still plenty of time for The Bold and the Beautiful to head in this direction.
