The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, August 8, tease that Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Thomas (Pierson Fode) will discuss how they’re going to proceed. Caroline will feel like they should make an announcement about Douglas’ paternity. A few friends and close family members are in the loop, but they’ll want to make sure everyone is aware of the situation.
Caroline will say they can do it once Eric (John McCook) gets back. Of course, they’ll probably have to spread some other crucial news soon. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Caroline’s marriage has come to an end. That’s going to be a shocker for some of their loved ones. These two were a blissfully happy couple at once upon a time.
Nevertheless, people change and that means relationships change as well. Ridge believes Caroline and Thomas have a deep connection. He doesn’t want to stand in their way. Unfortunately, Ridge doesn’t seem to be what’s preventing a Thomas and Caroline reunion. It’s Caroline herself who will apparently drag her feet.
B&B’s preview video shows Caroline stating that any girl would be lucky to have Thomas. It sounds like she means any girl but her. Perhaps Caroline will hint that it would just be too complicated to pursue a romance.
Even though things are over with Ridge, Caroline still cares about him. She may not want to hurt Ridge by flaunting their perfect family in front of him. Caroline will also consider what’s best for Douglas. She might suggest that she’d like to stick to co-parenting so they can avoid more family drama.
Speaking of family drama, Julius (Obba Babatunde) and Sasha (Felisha Cooper) will engage in another round of conflict. There are plenty of unresolved issues lingering for the Avant clan. When Julius brings up Sasha’s mistakes, she’ll pipe up with some complaints of her own.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) just won’t be able to quiet her anger. Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) actions have sent Steffy into a tailspin. She’s completely disgusted with her mother-in-law. Of course, Quinn may not hold that title for much longer.
Steffy will shout that Quinn doesn’t have Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) best interests at heart. She’ll feel like he’s too trusting of his mom. Steffy will think she’s the only one who genuinely cares about Wyatt’s well-being. She’s tried to be the kind of wife Wyatt deserves, but Quinn is getting in the way of their happiness.
Steffy will finally proclaim that she’s done. She’ll state that she just can’t do this anymore. Wyatt will undoubtedly beg Steffy to reconsider. He’ll hope to work through this and become stronger. Can their marriage be saved or has Steffy truly reached her limit? We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s clear that they’re not in a good place right now.
