Hot The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for episodes the week of Monday, August 15 to Friday, August 19 reveal that the noose tightens around Luca’s neck, Adam loses hope just as Dylan finds critical evidence, and Victoria must lure Travis back to Genoa City.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is cracking under the weight of pressure from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his threats about Bella so she hands over the journal pages. Victor is ready to use them not only to exonerate Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) but to set someone up for the crime.
Victor once again reassures Chloe neither will pay for the frame-up job. Adam and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) are both growing increasingly despondent about his prison sentence and both will be haunted by dreams and nightmares this week.
Chelsea has a joyful dream that Adam is out of Walworth and back home to her and Connor then when she wakes and finds herself alone, she breaks down. When Chloe goes to comfort her, Chelsea tells her that life will never be good again for her and Connor.
Chloe makes a confession and admits to Chelsea she hasn’t let go of all the anger but never thought about how this was affecting anyone other than herself. Adam is also haunted by a dream where Victor is a cruel guard at the prison.
In the dream, Adam snaps and attacks Victor and chokes him while dream-Victor tells him that he had the key to get out of prison all this time. Fortunately for Adam, things are getting better. Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) is back in his dad’s good graces and they get a break in the case.
New The Young and The Restless video spoilers show Dylan and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) at a hotel crime scene and they find the missing diary pages, but who will they implicate if not Adam? Someone else finds a bag of cash and passports this week – looks like Summer Newman (Hunter King).
It appears there are two frame-ups unfurling here – one for the Newman oil rig disaster and another to imprison Adam. Luca Santori (Miles Villanueva) makes a sketchy phone call to Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) and tells him that Victor is trying to pin the oil spill on him.
Luca also tells Travis that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is back with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Later, Summer will confront Luca to ask why he didn’t tell her that he met with Victor and he tries to cover his tracks then pushes her for a fast wedding to distract her.
They set the date for a rapidly approaching Friday and discuss a Top of the Tower wedding venue to test and see if her family is really on board with their wedding plans. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is back in town and says he has evidence Luca is framing Travis.
Nick appeals to Victoria to go find Travis and get him to come back to Genoa City to reveal the truth to Summer. Victoria doesn’t want to but Nick begs and she relents. Y&R spoilers show Victoria on Travis’ boat and them in a heated argument that leads up to her slapping his face.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) finds out something surprising this week and Dylan drops by with big news for Chelsea. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) finds out that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) intercepted his flowers to Chloe and those two have a showdown.
The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal that the Chancellor mansion is back to its old style so Y&R fans should be thrilled, but Billy isn’t happy when Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) tells him it’s not his home anymore. She’s still pushing hard for him to get back with Victoria.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) finds Phyllis Abbott’s (Gina Tognoni) behavior increasingly hard to tolerate or ignore and turns to his sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to help him through his struggle. At Brash & Sassy, Billy and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) try to work together.
