“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers reveal that on next week’s episodes, March 28 through April 1, we will see action taken to resolve the Sully mystery – his birth and parentage. Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) nightmares are getting so bad that she and Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) can no longer ignore that something is wrong and there may be legitimate cause for concern.
All of the nightmares center around their son Sully – and Sharon continues to be plagued by the fact that she has no memories of his birth. Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) and Shawn Taylor (Devon Martinez) were just talking about the birth process and Sharon was visibly upset.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tell us that Sharon and Dylan will have a serious talk about Dr Sandy Anderson’s (Elizabeth Bogush) role in her pregnancy and in the delivery of their son and wonder if there is some ugly truth lurking. Sharon and Dylan will soon decide to investigate.
The empty blanket dream was the worst one yet and reveals the horrible truth that “Sully” doesn’t exist at all. Dylan wants to talk to the one person that was at Fairview the night his son was born that might tell him the truth – Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Of course, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) doesn’t think Patty knows anything. How can a cop ignore an opportunity to investigate? Sloppy stuff as usual Paul… Nevertheless, Dylan will go around his dad and straight to his crazy Aunty Patty.
CDL knows Stacy Haiduk has been filming scenes, so she will be part of Dylan and Sharon’s investigation. But is Patty too cuckoo for cocoa puffs? Will Dylan be able to get Patty to make sense and answer questions without singing, rhyming or being off the wall?
Y&R spoilers say that Dylan and Sharon may also question other Fairview staff. After all, Dr A was not working alone – she had some co-conspirators in the orderlies and nurses that helped her with the kidnapping and fake birth. Will any of them come clean?
Or will their lies be so obvious that Dylan’s suspicions are further heightened? In the end, the most direct route is for Sharon to have a DNA test done with Sully to see if she and Dylan are his parents. Will Sharon take that risk?
Is Sharon’s desire to know the truth and end the nightmares more powerful than her fear that she could lose her son? Y&R spoilers indicate that within a few weeks – perhaps right as May sweeps hit – Sharon will discover she has no biological link to Sully.
If Sharon goes alone to have the DNA test done, might she hide the results from Dylan so she can keep the baby? If she does tell Dylan, will they reveal the truth to anyone? Will they go back to Patty for more answers to find out whose child they have?
Could May sweeps finally bring the long-awaited reunion of Christian with his parents? This should all align with Shawn giving birth to the baby Sage and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are planning to adopt. Will Sage call off the adoption once she has Christian in hand?
