“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 8, tease that Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will require some assistance from Adam (Justin Hartley). When Luca approaches him for help, Adam will wonder what he means. Luca will declare that this is about Marco (Peter Bergman).
Luca is already using Marisa (Sofia Pernas) as an informant to bring down his father, but it seems he still needs Adam’s help to carry out his plot. It’s clear that Adam doesn’t trust Luca. Of course, Luca would undoubtedly say the feeling is mutual. There’s a good chance one or both of them will get duped by the time this storyline reaches its climax.
The question is: which man will be smart enough to come out on top? Y&R viewers will have to wait and see, but Adam probably has an edge here. Adam is skilled in schemes and this deal with Luca could be his latest ruse. The Santoris may not know what hit them by the end of all this.
Elsewhere, Victor (Eric Braeden) will clash with Jack (Peter Bergman) over the business venture they’re vying for. Jack won’t be pleased by the news that Victor wants to steal Billy’s (Burgess Jenkins) spot in this project. Victor will insist that it’s not his fault Billy’s hopes and dreams are being dashed.
If Jack had chosen to have a little faith in his brother, Billy wouldn’t be in this predicament. Now Victor is planning on swooping in and making big bucks.
As for Billy, he’ll be left lingering between life and death. Jill (Jess Walton) will be torn apart when Billy’s doctors deliver a poor report. “The Young and the Restless” preview video shows Jill asking if Billy can still beat this. Jill will desperately hold out hope that Billy can come back to his loved ones.
The situation is bleak at the moment, but we’ll see some improvement down the road. For now, the Abbotts will have to endure this brutal waiting game. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on Billy’s attempt to recover from his injuries.
