“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 20, tease that Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) will try to convince Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she doesn’t have an agenda. Dr. Anderson will insist that she helped Sharon (Sharon Case) and she wanted to help Sage (Kelly Sullivan) as well. Since Nick and Sage disapprove, Dr. Anderson will hint that she’ll back off.
However, Dr. Anderson will offer one more piece of advice before she goes. She’ll say that Sage has an unhealthy fixation on Sully. In Dr. Anderson’s opinion, Sage needs to seek help before it gets any worse.
At the hospital, a nurse will inform Sage that she doesn’t have very many details on Dr. Anderson.
She’s only heard that Dr. Anderson is married. When Dr. Anderson returns, the nurse will inform her that someone’s been asking about her. Dr. Anderson will believe she knows who the snooper is.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) will discuss Billy (Jason Thompson) with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Jack will be concerned that Billy won’t be the same when he wakes up; he could have brain damage. If that happens, Jack will feel responsible. Fortunately, Billy will wake up and put Jack’s mind at ease.
Billy will talk about what happened in the parking garage. He’ll say that he only remembers getting beat up by his bookie. After Nick and Sage stop by for a visit, they’ll step out in the waiting area. Nick will suggest that Sage is probably right about Dr. Anderson. Something is definitely up with her. Nearby, Dr. Anderson will listen in on their conversation.
Back in Billy’s room, he’ll tell Victoria that he doesn’t want to mess up her life anymore. She should find someone else to be with. Victoria will insist that Billy should move back in. Billy needs to be with his family. They’ll cap off the warm moment with a gentle kiss.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will try to get to the bottom of Natalie’s (Mara McCaffray) whereabouts. In Natalie’s suite, Mariah will guess the password to the computer and Kevin will notice a recording on it.
It seems Victor (Eric Braeden) has Natalie. Dylan (Steve Burton) will note that three people are missing and they’re all linked Victor. Dylan will head out to learn more info.
At Newman Enterprises, Natalie will try to clear up the confusion about “the girl.” Victor will want to throw Natalie out, but she’ll convince him to let her explain. Once Victor gets updates on the mix-up, Natalie will tell him that he needs to protect her.
She’s the ticket to getting Adam (Justin Hartley) back. They just need to keep Adam’s captors satisfied until Natalie can work out the bugs in the program.
Victor will agree to the arrangement and he’ll make a call about letting Marisa (Sofia Pernas) go. He’ll also write an email about the new trade. Elsewhere, a man will come into the room where Marisa is being held. He’ll cut off Marisa’s restraints and order her to come with him.
Later, Marisa will show up at the athletic club. She’ll find Noah (Robert Adamson) and Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) arguing. Marisa will give them the news of her freedom. Dylan will see Marisa and he’ll start asking questions. Marisa will indicate that they told her there was a misunderstanding and they allowed her leave.
Back at Newman Enterprises, Dylan will arrive to grill Victor about what’s going on. He’ll wonder if Natalie is being held instead of Marisa now. Dylan will insist that he only wants to help get Adam back. Victor will eventually decide to talk things over.
