“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that the CBS soap may have some romantic shakeups in the works. Y&R viewers know that few characters ever get the luxury of sticking with one man or woman for any lengthy period of time. In the soap world, you’re lucky if you get six months of moderate happiness. Sooner or later, most couples get torn apart.
That’s exactly what could happen for several pairings on “The Young and the Restless.” First, we have Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan (Steve Burton). Sharon will grow increasingly irritated with Dylan for refusing to give Noah (Robert Adamson) any kind of legal pass on his crimes.
Of course, Sharon will also continue bonding with Nick (Joshua Morrow) in the midst of the crisis. Once Sully is revealed as Christian and Adam (Justin Hartley) is exposed as his father, Nick and Sharon will undoubtedly cling to each other through the heartbreak. It sounds like the perfect recipe for a reunion.
Meanwhile, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) could reconnect with her “baby daddy.” We’ve seen Y&R lay the groundwork for that already. Adam obviously cares about Sage and he helped her learn to cope after Christian’s “death.” When Nick finds out Adam is the father, he may turn away from Sage and snuggle up to Sharon. That could send Sage straight into Adam’s arms for comfort.
As for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), she’s clearly fed up with Adam and how he’s becoming Victor’s (Eric Braeden) “Mini-Me.” To make matters worse, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will approach Adam and suggest that he’s the Newman who should be running things. If Chelsea realizes her worst fears about Adam are coming true, she may point him in Sage’s direction and wish her luck.
Finally, we could see a new pairing pop up. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will grow closer as they finish their scheme. Since all of this is bound to blow up in some fashion, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) might decide she’s had enough of Billy’s antics. Jack (Peter Bergman) may be done with Phyllis for a while as well.
There’s a good chance we’ll see Billy and Phyllis get together down the road.
Nevertheless, you shouldn’t worry too much if one of your favorite duos seems to be on the verge of a breakup. They’ll inevitably swing back around again, particularly if they’re one of those “meant to be” couples. Just sit tight and wait for the next round of relationship updates.
