New The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of Monday, August 29 to Friday, September 2 reveal that the show celebrates its 11,000th episode, Adam may be gone for good, Luca admits guilt and is arrested, Victor faces consequences, and Phyllis and Billy have it out.
With Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) on the run, it wasn’t long before Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) realizes it’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to blame. The big surprise is that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas) is his co-conspirator in the crime of aiding and abetting.
Nikki helps Chelsea Newman (Melissa Egan) get away with Connor, but when Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) notices they’re gone, the search is on. Chloe worries that she’ll never see Chelsea again since she has no doubt that she’d rather be on the run with Adam.
Adam, Connor and Chelsea have some quality family time at the cabin, but time is running out for them. Victor fights off accusations from Dylan that he facilitated the escape of his son and told Dylan that one day, he would understand about making a sacrifice for your child.
Dylan and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) track down and bust Adam and Chelsea in bed at the cabin after they were starting to relax. But that’s not the end of it. The Young and The Restless spoilers video show a frustrated Dylan and Paul staring at taillights as they zoom away.
With Justin Hartley taking a planned break from the show so that he can work on his primetime show This Is Us, Adam escaping all on his own makes sense. Chelsea might even encourage him to get away even if she and Connor can’t go along with him.
Other Y&R spoilers reveal that Chelsea has a dilemma and this is very likely Adam behind bars but around so she can see him – or Adam running off and leaving them, but having a life free of prison. Also, that promise that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) made to Adam to take care of Connor will change his life.
Nick is there for Chelsea as she has to cope with the loss of Adam, at least for now, from her life. This is big action as we head into the 11,000th episode of The Young and The Restless on Thursday, September 1. Two guest stars are expected and possibly more – great stuff this week.
The first is Lee Phillip Bell, co-creator of Y&R and mother of Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams), who will make her second appearance ever on the show. Her last cameo was a decade ago back in 2006. Lee will have scenes with Christine and Paul and will surprise the pair of them.
Also coming this week is Star Trek Lt Uhura portrayer Nichelle Nichols. She will play Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St John) mom who is in a medical facility and looks to be in rough shape. Neil confronts her about abandoning him with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) encouragement.
Early in the week, Luca Santori (Miles Villanueva) comes clean to Summer Newman (Hunter King) that he set up the Newman oil rig disasters. She calls off their wedding and then when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) shows up, Luca threatens her and things turn dire.
The upshot is that Luca ends up broken hearted and arrested and Summer is left crying on Jack’s shoulder while he wonders why Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) isn’t answering her phone while her kid is in crisis. That’s because she’s with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Phyllis’ jealous tantrum at Billy culminates in her office at Jabot with her revealing that she broke it off with him because his mom Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) found out and forced her to end it. This should lead to Billy and Phyllis heating up again and Billy confronting his mother.
Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) is back, reveals Luca’s subterfuge, then beds Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) before telling her he’s back to stay. He wants to give things a try with Victoria and it looks like she’s game – if she and Billy really are done.
Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) spends time with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) talking about her sister Cassie and his role in her death. They talk things out and Daniel wants to spend some more time chatting with her.
By the end of the week, Victor’s world is turned upside down and he makes a major sacrifice for the family. Could Victor be facing more time in jail for helping Adam escape and setting him up in the first place or will the cops have too little evidence to pin anything on him?
All this will go down on Y&R episodes the week of Monday, August 29 thru Friday, September plus more surprises coming in the week of the CBS soap’s 11,000th episode. Share your comments below and be sure to check back with CDL for the latest The Young and The Restless spoilers and news.
