The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Adam Newman’s (formerly played by Justin Hartley) tissue sample will factor into the Sully reveal. Devoted viewers know that various characters believe that Nick (Joshua Morrow) is Christian’s father, when in fact his deceased brother is actually the biological dad.
A key fact that was recently mentioned regarding Adam’s apparent death will be linked to the arc that finally exposes Sharon’s (Sharon Case) baby secret.
The Genoa City Police Department holds evidence that was obtained after the now-fabled cabin exploded in the woods. A tissue sample was later found, in lieu of Adam’s carcass, at the scene. Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) were then tasked with relaying that gruesome information to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
The above scenario established the presence of a genetic sample that can be used to verify Sully’s paternity because, in this instance, a body isn’t available to be exhumed. Fans of The Young and the Restless recall that Constance Bingham’s (Sally Kellerman) rotting corpse was dug up not once, but twice, in an effort to clear Adam’s name.
That was during the time period when Victor (Eric Braeden) built a poison frame that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gleefully hung around Adam’s neck.
It would seem too simple to have Sully develop the same vision problem, like Adam and Hope (Signy Coleman) once had, in order to expose his identity. Instead, another health scare will be invented that furthers a plot line. Adam’s tissue sample will then be pulled into this play.
Imagine a stem cell transplant that’s needed for some dire reason. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Dr. Barton Shelby (Terrell Tilford) are called into action on a Y&R storyline. Yes, it’s surprising that two local practitioners would possess the needed experience to perform this particular procedure.
Yet, being lifelong learners, they’ve advanced their skills unbeknownst to The Young and the Restless viewers during the past few years.
The Young and the Restless spoilers warn that Sharon’s cover is blown in the process. Nick learns that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) never gave birth to his son. Then, due to the promise he made to Adam, he helps Chelsea to raise Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). But, the dramatically changed circumstances also allow him to remain close to his other nephew, Christian, who is Chelsea’s step-son.
Is this line of thought clearly visible in early October 2016? Of course not. This is a soap opera, which is escapist entertainment. Therefore it’s meant to be enjoyable for all who are willing to suspend disbelief and not take daytime drama, or themselves, too seriously.
