“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will soon have a clear recollection of the license plate of the car that ran him over – and will know that Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) ran him down. But will Billy call the GCPD or leverage the information?
When Billy suspected that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) ran him over – for no other reason than Adam hit Delia – Billy was ready to prosecute and see him in jail. But Noah is a far cry from Adam. Billy may think twice about turning Noah over to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).
Will Billy use the information against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) instead? Billy is annoyed that Victor stole the Natalie (Mara McCaffray) deal while he was on his deathbed. When he learns Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) were cut out too, he’ll be thinking revenge.
Could Billy blackmail Victor into cutting him in on the Natalie deal in exchange for NOT turning Noah over to the GCPD? Billy knows Victor will do anything to protect his family plus Billy will enjoy having the upper hand over Victor for a change. This is the perfect opportunity for Billy to strike back.
But Billy wouldn’t just ask Victor for money, that’s too crass. And there’s not much else he wants from Victor – except revenge against Victor. Owning 51% of the deal, so that Billy is in control, would be the perfect scheme for Billy to achieve success in business and keep Victor under his thumb.
Of course, Victor won’t like the deal and may try and call Billy’s bluff and tell him to go ahead. Victor may say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) would be mad if he ratted out Noah, but if Billy holds steady, he could make Victor fold.
Billy has woken a new man in more ways than the obvious physical alteration. He wants to make Victoria proud and him being in business with her dad would impress her – plus it would be profitable. This could put Billy in the position of getting back at Victor plus scoring profits to reinvest in Jabot.
Of course, Victor would be constantly trying to undermine Billy if they worked together, but the only way that Billy would not be able to continuously leverage Victor with the Noah threat is if Noah (or someone else who knows the truth) came forward.
Marisa Sierras (Sofia Pernas) knows, but no way will she betray Noah. And Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) knows, but he has promised Marisa he won’t blab. Plus, Luca and Noah have bonded over trying to save Marisa from Victor, so they have a tentative peace.
And remember Noah is angry at Victor right now for taking Marisa to sacrifice for Adam, so he may not mind letting Billy blackmail Victor. And since Noah feels guilty for running Billy down, he may think – why not let Billy leverage his bad grandpa over the incident?
Billy blackmailing Victor is a win for everyone in Genoa City except for Victor and possibly Billy! And Victor is due a major comeuppance. What do you think Y&R fans, do you want to see Billy get the upper hand over Victor by using the Noah information against him?
