“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for tomorrow’s episode, Friday, May 6, tease that Max (Jared Breeze) will find himself in more hot water. Max just keeps making things worse for himself. After causing the accident that killed Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) baby, Max set fire to the room containing the evidence.
Unfortunately, that plan is about to blow up in Max’s face.
Y&R spoilers indicate that the arson crew will find evidence that the fire was deliberately set. Dylan (Steve Burton) will let Stitch (Sean Carrigan) know that he needs to take Max’s fingerprints and a sample of his DNA. Max will realize the walls are closing in.
He’ll lock himself in the bathroom and shout that Abby is convincing Stitch to hate him.
Stitch will assure his son that Abby could never do that. Meanwhile, Charlie (Aidan Clark) will admit that he gave Max the master keycard. Lily (Christel Khalil) will pass along the news to Dylan. The forensic results will also come in. We have a winner!
Dylan will get proof that Max started the blaze.
Dylan will approach Stitch again and they’ll step outside the suite to discuss the matter. Once Stitch realizes Max indeed set the fire, they’ll head inside to talk to him. They’ll learn that Max has decided to make a break for it. Max has run away in hopes of evading his punishment.
Elsewhere, Abby will fill Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in on Max’s latest mess. They’ll both be concerned about how all of these revelations will affect Stitch. Social services will have to step in and there could be legal ramifications. We have to consider the toll this will take on Abby and Stitch’s marriage, too.
Most “Young and the Restless” buzz suggests that Stitch and Abby are headed for a breakup. There’s always the possibility that something could happen to Max while he’s on the run. For all we know, Max could end up injured or dead. It’s tough to believe this couple could overcome a second loss so soon.
Regardless, the future looks bleak for Stitch and Abby. If runaway Max eventually makes it home, he’ll have to face consequences for his actions. It’s doubtful that we’ll see much remorse from this cruel child, but maybe some treatment could help.
Max should be evaluated at a psychiatric facility to get to the root of the problem.
In the meantime, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will get on Neil’s (Kritstoff St. John) last nerve. When Neil tries to push back, Hilary will remind him that she could tell everyone he kidnapped her. Cane (Daniel Goddard) will overhear the shocking detail. He’ll ask Neil if it’s really true.
At the athletic club, Billy (Jason Thompson) will get into an argument with Jack (Peter Bergman) about business. Billy will try secure help from a former model named Fiona, who also happens to be an influential buyer. Jack will believe Billy’s need to make Brash and Sassy a success is about sticking it to Jabot.
Afterwards, Jack will think Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) encouraged Billy to stir up trouble. She’ll throw the blame back on Jack. At Billy’s place, he’ll make a deal with Fiona and they’ll close it with a kiss. Later, Phyllis will stop by to see Billy and they’ll quarrel. She’ll essentially accuse Billy of showing off.
Billy will hint that he doesn’t have to. Phyllis proved she wanted Billy twice. She’ll respond with a slap and go on her way.
Of course, we know this is just a little tiff. Billy and Phyllis will move past this soon enough. In fact, they’ll make love before long. Stay tuned to the CBS soap for updates on what else is in store for this couple.
