“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 6, tease that Bethany (Chrishell Stause) will show up at the hospital to fulfill her end of the bargain. She’ll inform Billy (Jason Thompson) that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) offered her a deal. Bethany will pretend she was the one in the accident in exchange for $10,000. Bethany will suggest that it’s risky for Billy to go after his own brother’s wife.
Billy will claim friendship is all they have in mind. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) will rant to Phyllis about Billy’s reckless behavior. He does anything he wants without considering the consequences. Jack won’t think Billy should be focusing on his current fling when he still has a chance to get the woman he loves.
When Bethany walks in with Billy, they’ll make their way over to Phyllis and Jack. Bethany will point out that Billy talks about Phyllis frequently. She feels like she already knows her. Once Billy sits down at a table with Bethany, Phyllis will scowl in their direction.
Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) will have a few concerns about Dr. Neville’s (Michael E. Knight) protocol being released in the fall. He’ll think that’s too soon. After all, they’re still in the testing phase. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will insist that it’s the best move. Dr. Neville will arrive and state that he needs to have a chat with Hilary.
After Hilary departs with Dr. Neville, Neil (Kristoff St. John) will hint that Hilary is jumping the gun on the protocol. Devon will be offended. He won’t buy that Hilary would put people in danger by pushing the drug before it was ready. Neil will mention that Hilary certainly has no problem with blackmail schemes.
Dr. Neville will run a couple of tests on Hilary in her suite. Another patient has relapsed and Dr. Neville will note his apprehension. The drug could be a patch on the issue rather than a cure. Hilary will snap that Dr. Neville will fix it or pay the price.
Later, Dr. Neville will give Ashley (Eileen Davidson) updates on his concerns. Ashley will immediately ask for news about her own health. She’ll fear that she might be relapsing, too. Dr. Neville will offer reassurance. Ashley is fine, but the same can’t be said for Hilary. Dr. Neville will state that he noticed a hand tremor. Hilary could fall back into a coma if Dr. Neville can’t figure out a solution.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will open up to Abby (Melissa Ordway). Max (Jared Breeze) needs surgery to remove his brain tumor, but there’s a chance he may not survive. Stitch won’t know if he should risk it.
After talking it over with Abby, Stitch will determine that Max deserves freedom from his terrible thoughts. They have to help him. Abby will want to come with Stitch to the hospital, but he’ll encourage her to stay behind. Stitch will meet up with Max and fill him in on the situation.
Max will learn that there are some risks with the surgery, but he’ll agree that he wants to get better. Abby will walk in and insist that she couldn’t stay away. Stitch and Max are her family. She’ll want to be there for them if Max is okay with it. Max and Abby will share a warm embrace.
Y&R viewers will be anxious to see what the future holds for the Rayburns. Most buzz suggests that more trouble is brewing, but let’s hope that Max will at least pull through the surgery. Stick with the CBS soap to see where this storyline is headed next.
