“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will soon make a confession to Jack (Peter Bergman) on next week’s episodes. Phyllis will admit that she’s drawn to Billy (Jason Thompson), but she’s really just stating the obvious.
Jack knows Phyllis has feelings for his brother or else he wouldn’t have confronted her about it.
Of course, Jack isn’t aware that Phyllis and Billy have already done the deed. We don’t know if Phyllis will come clean or not, but there’s a chance she may be forced to. Y&R just loves surprise pregnancies and every sex session makes viewers wonder if a bun was placed in the oven.
Could a pregnant Phyllis be the next character with a child on the way?
It wouldn’t be the first time Phyllis has had to deal with baby drama. When Phyllis was expecting Summer (Hunter King), she wasn’t sure if the father was Nick (Joshua Morrow) or Jack. Since soaps tend to repeat history, we could see a similar situation play out if Phyllis gets pregnant again.
If the baby turned out to be Jack’s, he could add another member to his brood. Jack has some catching up to do if he wants to compete with Victor (Eric Braeden). It would definitely complicate things for Phyllis since she’s clearly falling for Billy.
Jack and Phyllis could be on the verge of a divorce, but the news of a pregnancy might make them rethink that idea.
On the other hand, a baby for Billy could create even more turmoil. Let’s say Phyllis tries to rebuild her current marriage. Naturally, getting pregnant by Jack’s brother could tear that plan apart. As for Billy, he may not be completely over Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
By having a child with Phyllis, Billy could add another obstacle to block a potential reunion.
However, it’s not like “The Young and the Restless” is afraid of blended families. It can almost be tough to keep track of how many kids these people have and who their true parents are. It takes a village anyway. No pairing is set in stone and there are always surprises in store.
