The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 21, tease that Jill (Jess Walton) will have a proposal for Travis (Michael Roark). She’ll insist that she could use him on her team. Jill will offer Travis a job overseeing several divisions at Chancellor. Since Travis will guess it involves leaving the country and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), he’ll decide to pass. Nice try, Jill.
At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) will be on a mission. He’ll deliver instructions to have Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) belongings removed from the office. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will worry about Jack’s desire for revenge. She’ll dish out advice and Jack will suggest that she’s right. He’ll call a board meeting to make an announcement.
At Brash and Sassy, Victoria and Billy (Jason Thompson) will continue to bicker. They’ll try to keep Cane (Daniel Goddard) out of it, but he’ll just feel like his voice isn’t being heard. Later, Cane will give Jill updates on the constant clashing. He’ll believe some changes need to be made. Jill will agree when she hands over the company to Cane on Thursday’s Y&R episode.
In the meantime, Phyllis will take a bold step toward winning Jack back. She’ll choose to address the scandal and ask the media to leave Jack alone. Phyllis will go on camera to issue a statement. She’ll admit that she made a mistake. Phyllis will contend that Jack is an honest man who shouldn’t be punished for her behavior.
Phyllis will say she’s hoping to put this incident behind her and focus on repairing her marriage. When Victoria hears Phyllis’ comments, she’ll speak with Billy about them. Victoria will point out that Phyllis called him a mistake. Billy will insist that they were in love and planned be together until Jill meddled.
Once they wrap up her their conversation, Victoria will fill Travis in on Billy’s love admission. Travis will think Victoria seems upset about it. Victoria will assure Travis that Billy isn’t in love with Phyllis. Travis won’t understand how Victoria can know that. He’ll wonder if Billy is only allowed to be in love with his ex.
Victoria will downplay Travis’ fears and maintain that she’s moved on. He won’t be so sure. Travis always feels like there’s a bond between Billy and Victoria that can’t be broken. Elsewhere, Summer (Hunter King) will try to ease up on her mom. She’ll suggest that she could talk to Jack on Phyllis’ behalf.
When Summer sees Jack, they’ll share a hug. Summer will get the news that Jack wants a divorce. She’ll be concerned about what the future holds. Meanwhile, Ashley will rip into Phyllis just before the board meeting. Billy will arrive to break things up, but Phyllis will face backlash from him as well.
Billy will grill Phyllis about her earlier statement. He won’t think they were a mistake at all. Phyllis will try to justify how she worded it, but Jack’s arrival will interrupt their tense chat. Jack will snarl that Phyllis is off the board and he’s completely done with her.
In the boardroom, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will deliver a stunning message to the foundation. He’ll argue that this whole project is a sham. Jack will believe people revert the majority of the time anyway. He’ll declare that the old Jack is back.
Being nice never got Jack anywhere, so he’s moving in a new direction. Will Jack’s revenge be sweet or a total bust? Stick with the CBS soap to see how Jack’s new attitude works out for him.
