The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 17-21 tease that some exciting episodes are on the way. The CBS soap dropped a new promo and it offers some juicy hints about what’s to come. Chills and thrills are headed to Genoa City.
First, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will step up to defend Sharon (Sharon Case) when she thinks someone might be lurking outside. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will poke around, but he probably won’t see anything suspicious. Suddenly, somebody will strike Nick from behind.
Nick will take a hard bump on the noggin and he’ll be out cold. Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) will learn Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is missing. He’ll pass along the news in hopes of finding his sister. Sharon will be on edge when she hears that Patty has escaped.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will have some concerns as well. They’ll have no idea what to expect with Patty on the loose. She could pop up when they least expect it. It’s possible that Patty was behind Nick’s blow to the head. Of course, you never really know on Y&R. Twists are the norm.
However, there’s one storyline that seems fairly predictable. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) marriage has always seemed like a disaster. They’ve faced nothing but problems from the very beginning. Many viewers think they’re a lackluster pairing anyway.
Even Abby herself agrees! She admitted that there have never been real fireworks on her end of this relationship. The Young and the Restless promo shows Abby walking away from a stunned Stitch. Later, Abby will tell Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that she thinks her marriage is over.
What does the future hold for Abby after her divorce? Who will she be paired with next? Could Ashley be drawn to Stitch again? There plenty of possibilities to consider. It should be interesting once Abby and Stitch officially split.
Elsewhere, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will try to regain control of a tricky situation. After Jack (Peter Bergman) gives Phyllis a flash drive containing dirt on Victor (Eric Braeden), it will end up in Billy’s (Jason Thompson) hands. Phyllis will do whatever she can to get it back.
Since the preview video shows Phyllis leaping across the desk, perhaps she’ll pull it out of her laptop before Billy sees what’s on it. Phyllis will plan on taking the details to GC Buzz and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will finally get the big story she’s looking for.
Unfortunately, there could be major consequences if Hilary chooses to cross Victor. That won’t be the only trouble for Newman Enterprises this week. Travis (Michael Roark) will inform Victor that they’ve been hacked. Vic will undoubtedly blame Jack and vow to make him pay.
Jabot will be an important target for Victor, but he’ll have new rivals to conquer soon. In light of the potential report, GC Buzz might be one of them. We’ll give you updates as more info comes in.
