“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that the “Sully is Christian” secret could remain hidden a while longer – and with it the truth that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) is Christian’s biological father. With Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) dead, who do you think should raise her son? Vote in the POLL.
The question of who should raise Sage’s baby is complicated by a number of factors, not the least of which is that only Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), nurse Angela Stephens (Jill Lover) and crazy Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) know the truth about Sully’s secret “birth” story.
With Angela scared of going to jail and Patty nuts and locked away, The Young and the Restless spoilers ask if Sharon can keep the secret? Will she? With the Sully secret still hidden, it seems like Sage’s baby will stay tucked safely with Sharon and Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) despite Sage’s last wish and Sharon’s promise to tell the truth.
But when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) loses it in a big way at Sage’s funeral, Sharon will begin to be crushed under the guilt. Will Sharon be able to keep the baby secret from Nick? The longer she keeps it a lie, the worse she will look when it comes out.
So if Sharon does come clean to Nick, there’s no way he would let Sharon and Dylan keep his baby, right? That would transfer Sully to his rightful place as Christian and into Nick’s keeping. But would Adam let that stand? Y&R spoilers show Chelsea Newman (Melissa C Egan) and Adam discuss the secret soon.
Adam and Chelsea believe that Christian is dead and with Nick grieving Sage so intensely, they will burn what is likely some sort of DNA proof that Adam is the father of Sage’s child. But when and if Sully is revealed as Christian, no doubt Adam and Chelsea will have second thoughts.
With Sage dead, Adam would be the rightful and only parent of Christian but could he rip the baby from his brother given his grief? It’s understandable for Adam to feel compassion for Nick, but seems unlikely he could watch his brother raise his son – particularly given his own daddy issues.
