Camilla Parker-Bowles is desperate for public acceptance and personal happiness, as she wants Princess Diana comparisons to end once and for all. In fact, Camilla Parker-Bowles is hoping that the public will stop comparing her to Prince Charles’ ex-wife Princess Diana before he is made the next King of England.
For years, Camilla was always known as the ‘other woman’ in Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage. But it’s been well over a decade since she and Charles married and the public still can’t let go of their feelings towards Camilla. She’s often criticized or ridiculed by the public even though she’s done everything in her power to help soften her image. But nothing seems to be working.
Even though Prince Charles and Princess Diana were very unhappy during their relationship together, a lot of people are still pointing their fingers at Camilla for ruining their fairytale marriage.
Camilla has had enough. When Charles becomes King, she is going to be the Queen Consort, whether people like it or not. Plus, she and Prince Charles have enjoyed a happy, peaceful marriage. She doesn’t deserve to be treated like an outcast or outsider, yet her PR team is still working extra hard to win the public’s approval.
Even though she’s been very careful to never say anything too controversial, she still lives in Princess Diana’s shadow to this very day. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles have a marriage that is full of love, patience and understanding, but the world still seems to adore Diana much more than Camilla.
With that being said though, it’s been almost twenty years since Princess Diana’s death. All Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles want is to live their life in peace. Sure, Camilla might not have Diana’s beauty, charm or charisma, but she does have something she never quite had, and that’s a happy marriage with Prince Charles.
Plus, it’s not like Princess Diana was truly innocent in her marriage as well. Many reports have indicated that she too looked elsewhere for comfort during her problematic marriage with Charles.
Camilla Parker-Bowles has not made any comments about all of the hurtful Princess Diana comparisons that have been made and it’s doubtful that she ever will.
