Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers teased the return of Will Horton (Chandler Massey.) In a recent video interview, the actor discussed his character. Among some of the topics included continuing Will’s journey.
While the actor would not share any specific details, he did tease that it is just the beginning. He knows exactly where Will left off. He wasn’t a fan of the character’s death, which was being portrayed by Guy Wilson at the time. However, he did watch all the episodes leading up to it.
Days of Our Lives spoilers imply that Chandler Massey will continue to be a presence on the soap opera. Just like with all good actors, he wants to do his best now that he has been welcomed back.
“I want to be very careful and try to do the best that I can to pick up where I left off and continue Will’s journey.”
Speaking of Will’s journey, the actor discussed where things left off. Unfortunately, Will Horton was killed by Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson.) However, that wasn’t exactly the end of the story.
Chandler Massey confirmed that one of the most significant events, aside from Will’s death, was the reactions from Salemites. In particular, how his family and friends dealt with the tragic loss.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) are both “seeing” Will. Lucas saw a drunken vision of his dead son, while Sonny had a dream about his first husband. There were a lot of clues that are leading up to the big reveal.
Even though Massey is an experienced actor and the DOOL set is like home, he is still nervous about returning. He wants to do the character justice, especially considering how many fans he has out there. This is something that is fundamentally important to him.
While the future isn’t clear about Will Horton just yet, viewers are excited that he is back. So far, he is doing a great job and we are looking forward to his story unfolding in the next few months.
