Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abe (James Reynolds) will get some tough news. It looks like a specialist will deliver difficult updates on Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) condition. Abe may be informed that Theo probably isn’t going to wake up. He might have to think about long-term care.
It’s clear that Abe has been dealing with a hard holiday season. Days spoilers say Abe will sink further in despair as we get closer to Christmas. His anger toward JJ (Casey Moss) will grow stronger as well. Since it sounds like the investigation will absolve JJ, that should leave Abe even more outraged.
JJ may have acted according to policy, but he still won’t feel like he deserves his job back. In fact, JJ won’t even think he deserves to live. He couldn’t handle it if Theo died because of his actions. As hope fades for comatose Theo, Days of Our Lives spoilers say JJ will decide to kill himself. He’ll write goodbye notes and give away prized possessions to loved ones.
Fortunately, JJ will change his mind later. It seems a visit from Jack (Matthew Ashford) and some serious reflection will shift JJ’s view. JJ can’t keep shutting everyone out and expect to heal.
Once Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) hears about JJ’s scrapped suicide plan, she’ll panic over her son’s mental state. DOOL fans know that there’s been some tension between Abe and Jen since the shooting. Jennifer will decide to reach out anyway. She’ll be desperate to give JJ some relief from the pressure he’s under.
Jennifer will realize she’s asking a lot, but she’ll hope Abe can find it in his heart to forgive JJ. She may mention the suicide situation and suggest that Abe holds JJ’s fate in his hands. Jennifer might worry that JJ will truly leave this world if Abe can’t grant her request.
Abe will likely decide that forgiveness is possible. Of course, the task will become much easier once Theo miraculously awakens and begins the long road to recovery.
