Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal there are several characters making an appearance, and a few that will be saying goodbye. Find out everyone who is coming and going from September 2017 to spring 2018.
On September 7, Aaron D. Spears will make his final appearance as Commissioner Raines. Fans now know that Raines was Dario Hernandez’s (Jordi Vilasuso) partner in crime. With his secret close to being exposed, he is becoming unraveled. He will threaten to shoot Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus.) However, do not fear, Gabi will once again be saved.
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins will reprise the role of Sheila, the inmate that caused so many problems for Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso.) She will make her reappearance on September 8. She will have scenes with Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans.) It is teased that Sheila will threaten to blow Adrienne out of the water. However, these two might end up becoming allies as time goes on.
On September 12, Edd Hall will appear as a newscaster. He will only be on the soap opera for two days. He has played the role of a newscaster on DOOL before. His credits also include The Young and the Restless.
Days of Our Lives spoilers tease Will Horton’s return. Chandler Massey confirmed on Twitter that his will show up on September 15, which is earlier than what was previously speculated.
On September 17, Sean Riggs of The Bay will appear as Jason Cortman in scenes at the Horton Center. Then, on September 27, expect to see Jason Carlage as a reporter. He has made appearances on the NBC soap before, but as a police officer. On that same day, fans will also see Brian Maierhofer playing the role of Gil.
In October 2017, expect to see Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) popping back into Salem. Her return is connected to Will. Additionally, expect her to affect multiple storylines and will take part in a road trip to Memphis.
There is also a good chance that EJ DiMera (James Scott) might be returning. What better storyline than to have Sami reunited with her family. Even though Scott doesn’t seem interested in coming back, there have been rumors of a recast. This will probably happen around the time that Sami and Will return to Salem.
Eileen Davidson is returning in November. However, whether she is playing Kristen DiMera or Susan Banks has not yet been confirmed. It only makes sense that it has to do with the Memphis storyline.
Around Thanksgiving, Arianne Zucker will be leaving and fans will have to say goodbye to Nicole Walker.
In December, expect to see the new Ciara Brady. She will be played by Victoria Konefal, who is replacing Vivian Jovanni. Around Christmas, also look for the returns of Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black-Brady (Martha Madison.)
Around New Year’s 2018, Louise Sorel will reprise the role of Vivian Alamain. Around that same time, General Hospital alum Tyler Christopher will also be introduced. His character is being kept under wraps, but it was confirmed by head writer Ron Carlivati that it is not a returning character. This is someone brand new who Carlivati created and is described as “very funny.”
Days of Our Lives spoilers also confirm Lisa Rinna is rejoining the cast as Billie Reed. She is currently filming her scenes, so don’t expect to see her until early 2018. It is not yet known if she will only appear for a short stint or if Billie plans on sticking around for a bit. However, her return is leading to speculations of Chelsea Brady (Rachel Melvin) returning.
