Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Shocking Storyline – Ben Redeemed – Didn’t Kill Will, but Saved Him?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) storyline will shock everyone. Right now, everyone wants to kill the escaped mental patient. However, what if he is telling the truth? What are the chances that he will actually be redeemed by the time the mystery is solved?

Will’s Death Scene Reshot

Chandler Massey said in an interview that some scenes of Will’s death were reshot. It is unclear just how many, but we are already seeing some flashbacks. However, the scenes of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) actually strangling Will have not been shown yet. Are we entirely sure of what we saw?

In the soap world, history can be changed and fans have seen it happen before. DOOL spoilers suggest that Ben knows something about Will. However, everyone is having a hard time getting any details about of him.

Ben Knows Will’s Keepers

The one thing that Ben mentioned was that he knows “these people.” He was referring to the individuals that supposedly have Will. His word choice is interesting because it hints that there is more than one person that is holding Will. It also indicates that while Ben doesn’t know Will’s location, he is familiar with his captors.

Twins, Masks, Dopplegangers and Cloning

With Ron Carlivati’s writing, expect the unexpected. He is famous for his outrageous storylines. He is also known for favoring doppelgangers, twins and masks. We’ve already had two dopplegangers in Salem. It is unlikely that there is another one so soon. There is also the possibility that Dr. Rolf (William Utay) developed a cloning recipe.

Doubles of Doubles

Carlivati seems to like doubles. He didn’t create one doppelganger, but two. So, is it possible that there are multiple twins, several clones or multiple masks? What if Ben wasn’t the only one to be duplicated, but Will was, too?

Remember, Dr. Rolf (William Utay) is returning. Days of Our Lives spoilers imply he is somehow involved in this. It sounds impossible, but this is the same doctor that brought himself back from the dead.

Ben’s Hint

Perhaps when the reshot scenes are aired, we will realize that things are not what they seem… which is exactly what Ben said during his interrogation. It was a big clue that what viewers remember might play out quite differently in the next few weeks.

It’s Happened Before…

Although Will being alive and Ben’s innocence seems like a big stretch, stranger things have happened in Salem. Everyone thought that Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) attacker was Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove.) However, Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) hired a lookalike.

Is Redemption Possible?

The only way Ben Weston will be redeemed is if he is innocent of Will’s murder. However, that still won’t be enough. He would have to be Will’s savior, somehow managing to save Will. There are still the other murders he committed, as well as torturing Abby. Unless it was all really done by someone else. Then, the question is why is Ben still acting like an unstable psychopath?

We should get answers soon since Dr. Rolf is returning this month, along with many other characters. Keep watching the NBC soap and check back often with CDL for the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news.
