Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Will (Chandler Massey) will face a confusing homecoming. He’ll certainly be overwhelmed when he returns to Salem. For Will, it’ll feel like the first time. He won’t recognize the town he grew up in or the people who love him. Will’s going to have a tough time as he adjusts to this seemingly new situation.
Sonny (Freddie Smith) will just be glad that Will’s in his life again. He feels confident that they can sort all this out eventually. Will’s other loved ones will be pleased to see him strutting around Salem as well. Next week, Days spoilers say Chad (Billy Flynn) will welcome Will back with a kiss on the forehead. He’ll crack a few jokes and insist that they’re happy Will’s home.
Abigail (Marci Miller), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Gabi (Camila Banus) and Arianna (Harper and Sydnee Udell) will all have sweet reunions with Will. They’ll have to explain who they are, but at least they can see Will’s face and hold him tight. The fact that Will’s alive means a lot to his family and friends. So many characters are going to be affected by this storyline, so it’s a great move on DOOL’s part.
Will could learn who he is again over time, but why teach when you can trigger? His loved ones would much rather see Will have a shocking realization about who he is. They’ll want to help Will recall all the warm memories they’ve shared.
Sonny is particularly interested in helping Will recall their relationship and his daughter. Arianna still dreams about Will, so she’ll have trouble understanding why her daddy doesn’t remember her. That could lead to some heartbreaking moments, so Sonny and the rest of the gang will form a plan ASAP.
They might start out by showing Will old photos and sharing stories. Those strategies aren’t going to cut it, so Marlena will have to rely on her usual tactic. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Marlena will put Will under hypnosis. She’ll hope that Will can rediscover his identity during one of their sessions.
Days spoilers say Will might gain a flash or two of his past, but it won’t be enough. That’s when Sami (Alison Sweeney) will step up her game. She’ll eventually capture Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and force him to recreate the circumstances of Will’s demise. Sami will hope the trauma of Will’s murder memories will snap him back to reality.
It’s clear that Sami’s playing with fire by bringing Ben into this, but she’ll do anything to get her son back to normal. We’ll give you updates as other Days of Our Lives news comes in.
