Giada introduces the theme of the next challenge which is hospitality. The contestants must host a party for fans of Beautiful and the Beast. They then watch the scene from the movie where the castle comes alive around the dinner party. The contestants are divided into three teams and must create a menu and design a table scape.

The contestants create their teams on their own. Matt is nervous because he ends up with Nancy and Toya who were both in the bottom three in the first episode. Rusty and David both are unhappy to be teamed with Suzanne.

Each team is assigned a room in the castle and a dining experience to host. Cory, Trace, Amy and Addie are given an afternoon tea in the library. Rusty, Suzanne, David and Jason are given Hors d’Oeuves in the ballroom. Nancy, Cao, Matthew and Toya are given brunch in the dining room. The contestants are expected to use the finest French ingredients. Two contestants from each team go shopping at a French market and the other half of the team go shopping for deco for their table scape.

The team of Rusty, David, Jason and Suzanne has trouble agreeing on what to cook. Matthew and Nancy argue as they shop. Rusty and David leave the store without one of their bags of food. The team of Trace, Addie, Amy and Cory get along very well and sing as they cook but Addie thinks Trace’s banana fosters looks very gross when it is complete. Matthew thinks he has to make a delicious dish because his team members are weak. Rusty starts to panic when he realizes that he doesn’t have the mustard that he needs for his lamb. He decides to substitute creole spice for mustard.

The teams finish their dishes and begin decorating their tables. Matthew stands back since he doesn’t know anything about decorating. Jason is very excited to get the flowers in place for his table. Cao is also excited about their table scape. Sandra Lee joins Giada to judge the tables. When the guests arrive each team will have two minutes to describe their dishes and how they were inspired by their theme. Bobby lets the contestants know that TWO contestants will be eliminated after the party.

Nancy starts the presentation for her team and struggles. Toya and Cao do OK and Matthew bring sit home. The judges don’t seems very impressed. Cory starts for his team and is very charming. Addie, Amy and Trace also do very well. The last to present is Jason and he is always adorable. Rusty describes his dish and goes over his 60 seconds so much that Suzanne and David have no time left to describe their food.

The judges do not like Nancy’s soup at all. They think Toya’s shrimp is delicious but doesn’t tie into the Beauty and Beast at all. Cao’s food is flavorless. They enjoy the way Matthew’s cake tastes but it has a strange consistency. They like the table scape but think it looks a little cluttered. Cory’s soup is wonderful as are Addie’s sandwiches. Amy’s sandwiches are not as well received. All three judges think Trace’s bread pudding looks like poo and they also don’t like the flavor. The table scape is a home run.

Jason’s polenta cake is not good. It is too dry and sandy. Rusty’s lamb is a hit. Suzanne’s food is confusion to the judges. They don’t know what they are eating. David’s risotto is also too dry. They judges liked David’s presentations but don’t like the table at all. The judges looked at the presentations, the food and the table scapes. Cory, Addie, Amy and Trace are safe. The team that came in second are Jason, Suzanne, David and Rusty. They are also safe. The two people leave this week are Nancy and Toya.
