General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, January 31 reveal the PCPD are again clueless when it comes to crime solving. Franco (Roger Howarth) figures out Seth Baker (Michael Rodrick) attacked and kidnapped him and killed Tom Baker (Don Harvey).
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) still has Franco as the killer and now suspects Julian Jerome (William deVry) kidnapped Franco. Port Charles cops are the worst. Julian shows up at the PCPD to check on Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) but gets blocked.
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) tells him to kick sand and get out because Alexis has nothing to say to her, but Diane is wrong. Alexis wants to clear the air and let Julian know she recovered memories and she didn’t kill Tom. But then Dante wants to question Julian.
Will Alexis defend her homicidal ex-husband? She believes he didn’t kidnap Franco but can she convince Dante? Meanwhile over at GH, Franco calls for a cop because he remembers where he saw the trophies from the storage room – he knows Seth is the killer, but will anyone listen?
Franco won’t sit idly by at the hospital knowing Seth may have his hands on Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and could kill her like he did his brother. Across town, Seth won’t let Liz out of his house with that stalker journal of Tom’s. Liz is stunned when he holds her captive.
Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) wants answers from Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) about his mysterious history with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) but will Valentin open up? Valentin tells his wife there are things he doesn’t share with anyone and she doesn’t like it.
Since Anna knows and Nina doesn’t, she won’t like it. Valentin has always seemed handsome and suave to Nina and he probably doesn’t want her to know about the creature he was before but Nina won’t let it go. She arranges a meet up with Anna under false pretenses.
Nina wants to know what Anna’s motives are and why she won’t leave Valentin alone. On Monday’s GH, Anna said “Non minoris aestimo me” which means “don’t underestimate me” but that’s what she’s doing with Nina by ignoring her and obsessing on her husband.
Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is at GH and finally makes it to Jason Morgan’s (Billy Miller) hospital room. She demands to know why he didn’t let her know he was sick. Jason tells her about Julian’s poisoning antics and they come up with a new plan of attack.
Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) run into Anna and want to talk with her about Valentin. They’re gearing up for the custody fight and need all the help they can get. Does Anna have any concrete evidence that can help Lulu in court or just theories?
Ava Jerome (Maura West) stops by to see baby Avery and gets the third degree from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and she’s terrified. Ava tries to avoid his questions and says it’s not a good time to talk but Sonny won’t be distracted.
Ava is terrified he might know she swapped Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) meds but it seems that Sonny wants to know about the secret mobster and Julian. Ava’s nervous behavior could give away that she knows more than she’s saying.
