General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, August 4, tease that Jason (Billy Miller) will be desperate for answers. He’ll grab Garvey (Rick Ravanello) and start shouting for him to wake up. Jason will demand to know who shot Sonny (Maurice Benard), but it appears Garvey won’t be able to provide any more info. In fact, Garvey may not survive this stressful encounter.
Down the hall at GH, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will toss and turn in her sleep. When she jolts awake, Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) will ask if Sam had a bad dream. Sam will look confused as she wonders if that’s really all it was. She’ll suspect that maybe she’s having some flashbacks, but she’ll struggle to put it all together.
Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will do whatever he can to find Sonny (Maurice Benard). He’ll track down a construction worker so he can relay his fears. Dante will suggest that a tip came in and it points to someone being on this site. Since demolition is getting underway, Dante will worry that he may be too late.
It turns out General Hospital is giving us a double rescue. Carly (Laura Wright) found Sonny and now she’s trying to help him hobble out of danger. With Dante’s assistance, they’ll hope to avoid a total catastrophe. Elsewhere, Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) will get updates on Laura’s (Genie Francis) decision. She’ll insist that she doesn’t want to do this, but the choice is necessary.
Spencer will likely learn that Laura is shipping him back to boarding school in Europe. He may object, but this is for his own good. Laura can tell that Spencer is driving himself crazy with all his vengeful acts. The sooner he’s out of Port Charles and away from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), the better off he’ll be.
Of course, this will be a huge relief for Laura as well. She could use a breather after all the drama Spencer brought into her life. Speaking of drama, Valentin is busy causing some of it over at Ava’s (Maura West) penthouse. He wants her to recant her statement regarding Nikolas’ (Tyler Christopher) murder, which would aid his fight against Spencer’s lawsuit.
Ava will maintain that she isn’t interested, but Valentin will urge her to hear him out. He’ll have a proposal that could change everything. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will offer to repair the damage to Ava’s face. It sounds like he’ll hire the best and brightest surgeons if Ava is willing to help him.
