General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 5, tease that Julian (William deVry) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will discuss the situation they’re dealing with. Alexis recently came clean about willingly going with Julian to a hotel. However, a dropped kidnapping charge won’t solve their problems.
Julian won’t think telling the truth will set either one of them free. Alexis will seem distraught as she deals with all of this. She still has strong feelings for Julian, but their romance is one of Port Charles’ most complicated.
Of course, Sonny (Maurice Bernard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) relationship isn’t exactly simple either. Despite their love for each other, they can’t let go of their rage. Michael (Chad Duell) will take a look at Carly’s plan for the courtroom. He’ll wonder if Carly is really going through with this.
Carly intends on keeping the assets Sonny signed over to her. She believes he should suffer a little after everything she’s done. Michael will likely warn Carly that major decisions shouldn’t be driven by anger. Once the fury dies down, only the consequences typically remain.
Meanwhile, it appears Ava (Maura West) will let Sonny know she’s in on his secret. She spotted Sonny with Martina (Daya Vaidya) at The Haunted Star, so she’ll put everything together and try to use this to her advantage. Ava is always on the lookout for opportunities to get ahead.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny won’t appreciate Ava’s meddling. He’ll get in her face and make his position clear. Sonny will snarl that Ava had better stay out of his divorce or she’ll regret it. There’s a good chance Ava won’t be able to resist, but this move could backfire spectacularly.
Other GH spoilers state that Dr. Finn (Michael Easton) will fail another drug test. When Griffin (Matt Cohen) reveals the results, Finn just won’t understand. After he insists he’s innocent, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) will rush to his defense. She’ll try to help Finn out of this jam.
Hayden will think there might be a way to prove that Finn was set up. Griffin may be skeptical, but he’ll probably get on board. Elsewhere, Brad (Parry Shen) will believe his plot is working like a charm. He’ll tell Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) that something big is about to hit the fan and it’s all about Dr. Finn.
