General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 8, tease that Griffin (Matt Cohen) will have a lot on his mind. Ava’s (Maura West) outburst was harsh, but Griffin feels like she made some good points. He may not share all the details with Liz (Rebecca Herbst), but he’ll definitely admit he’s struggling to get a grip on his emotions.
Liz can relate since she’s facing a tough battle as well. She has some regrets about her treatment of Jason (Billy Miller) in the past. Liz can fix her own drama by focusing on the present and future. She’ll wonder what it’d take for Griffin to find inner peace again. He’ll insist that he needs to figure out how he feels.
Elsewhere, Ava and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will rehash the specifics of the deal he’s offering. Once he goes over everything, Valentin will suggest that he just needs a yes or no. If Ava approves, Valentin can set everything in motion right away.
While Ava makes her decision, Stella (Vernee Watson) and TJ (Tequan Richmond) will take a minute to catch up. General Hospital spoilers say Stella will state that her work here is done. It’s not clear if she’s referring to a particular task or her overall time in Port Charles. Regardless, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan’s (Vinessa Antoine) reunion could lead to more trouble.
In bed, Jordan and Curtis will flirt a bit before revisiting the topic of his meddling auntie. They’ll hope that they can avoid causing extra health issues, but they have to live their lives. Cutting off a romance to please someone else was never the way to go. They’ll just have to find another tactic to keep Stella calm.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will pay Nina (Michelle Stafford) a visit. She’ll declare that she wants to go back to work for Crimson. Nina may ask why she should let Maxie return to her old job. After all, Maxie turned down the offer she emailed.
Of course, Maxie will contend that things have changed and she’d really like a second chance. Unfortunately, there’ll be some complications as they try to reach an agreement. Some serious GH conflict is brewing next week.
Across town, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will be concerned about Amy’s (Risa Dorken) news. He’s ready for the Man Landers scheme to be over, but Amy has at least one more favor to ask. Meanwhile, Franco (Roger Howarth) will seek Scott’s (Kin Shriner) assistance. This probably involves his search answers about the boy in the pictures.
Alas, it appears Franco will walk away empty-handed. General Hospital spoilers hint that Scott will be of no use in this mystery. We’ll give you updates as other GH info comes in.
