General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Jake Webber (Hudson West) will be the one to activate the Chimera Project at the Nurses’ Ball. Viewers recently saw Jake fretting about his birthday and how he couldn’t go camping with his family. When a delivery arrived by the same man he witnessed beating his father, Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), we all knew terrible danger lay ahead for various citizens of Port Charles.
General Hospital has many fans believing Chimera is about brainwashing and implanting memories in several people who have been kidnapped and subjected to Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) twisted and sadistic games, but now it appears it is something far more sinister.
Jake lived with Helena for over 4 years, and if she wanted to kill him, she would have just let his family grieve over him and let them move on. General Hospital spoilers say it appears he is just as much a pawn in her game as is his father. Jake may not remember all of his time on Cassadine Island but he clearly remembers the Chimera symbol as he put it in the drawing on his time line.
General Hospital is about to celebrate their annual Nurses’ Ball, so it is entirely likely that the canister Jake received for his birthday will wreak havoc on the hugely publicized event. Helena has never been one to commit minor offenses and what better way to sneak a lethal weapon into the festivities than through a small child and his magic set? General Hospital spoilers promise Jake will perform a magic trick at the gala involving the canister marked with the Chimera symbol and inadvertently unleash a disaster.
Jason Morgan and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) are waging their own war amongst themselves in Greece, leaving only Jake’s mother, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to watch over her son. Although General Hospital spoilers make it clear they will both return in time and attend the Nurses’ Ball, will either be able to stop Jake from carrying out Helena’s plan?
We also cannot forget Jake’s role in his stepmother, Samantha Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and half-sister, Scout’s life. General Hospital fans must remember how Helena cursed Sam on her alleged death bed – this was followed by Jake sharing his concerns about the curse to Franco when Scout was born. GH spoilers hint that it is possible that the impending Nurses’ Ball Chimera activation is the disaster Helena was referring to.
There is an intersection of plots regarding the Chimera Project since Alex (Finola Hughes) is doing her best to plumb Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) for info and she is being controlled by either Helena or Faison (Anders Hove), more likely the later. Discerning GH fans realize that Alex is working for someone who doesn’t know as much as they wish to about the Chimera Project – and that would not be Helena.
For the moment Anna is safely tucked away in what appears to be a secure medical facility, but GH spoilers reveal she will be rescued shortly. General Hospital spoilers tease that the Nurses’ Ball 2017 will see several shocking reveals, including an Anna/Alex confrontation, as well as the Chimera resolution as these conflicting interests meet head on.
