General Hospital Spoilers: Is Ava Being Burned Enough Punishment For All Her Vicious Crimes? VOTE!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers wonder whether Ava Jerome (Maura West) being so severely burned is truly enough punishment for all the evil deeds she has committed since arriving in Port Charles. How do you feel about it, do you think the injuries she sustained from the fire, she started is more than enough justice?

General Hospital’s Ava Jerome is probably one of the few who will never be granted sainthood after everything she has done to the citizens of Port Charles. Ava has several dastardly deeds under her belt that are unforgivable – including when she killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) after she discovered that Derek Wells was actually the long presumed dead mobster and her brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry).

Ava never paid for Connie’s murder, in fact, maybe she should be responsible for 2 murders in this case, since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) stopped taking his bipolar medications, thanks to Ava making him feel like he didn’t need them. In a blind rage, he assumed AJ Quartermaine (then Sean Kanan) was the culprit and killed him for the death of his beloved Connie.

General Hospital’s sweet nurse, Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) was another one, unable to escape Ava and her threats. Jerome crime family henchman, Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) needed some incentive to stay quiet about her role in AJ’s murder; so not only did she threaten an innocent Sabrina, she ordered her and her unborn baby to be killed.

What about Jason Morgan (then-Steve Burton), when she ran him over with her car and left him for dead back in 2014? Maybe we should look at her role involving the General Hospital Serial Killer, Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi). Had Ava revealed what she knew about him instead of blackmailing him, all the people he murdered could have still been alive – so does their blood spilled also lie in her hands?

More recently on General Hospital, and probably one of her worst crimes yet was switching Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) bipolar medication, Lithium with a placebo in hopes that he would lose control and be readmitted into a psychiatric facility, driving him away from her daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). Ava may not have planted the bomb that ultimately killed Morgan, but surely his alleged death was indirectly her fault.

Lastly, the fire that burned more than 50% of Ava’s body was started by the mob princess herself, in order to save herself from dangerously grieving parents, Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos. She trapped herself and now lies in a hospital bed with a difficult road to recovery. Do you feel this is punishment enough for Ava? Please take this poll and let us know what you think.
