General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that when Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is back in Port Charles on new episodes next week, April 3 to April 7 and he’s got a lot of explaining to do to his victim Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) among others in town. Jax might be most torn about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her reaction but it’s Nelle who was hardest hit by Jax’s actions when it came to the black market kidney deal.
Jax is back on General Hospital Monday, April 3, with news. First, he talks about his mom’s death since GH has written in the passing of Lady Jane Jacks (Barbara Tarbuck) but that’s the least of the explaining Jax has to do while he’s in town. Jax may share about losing his mom to soften Carly up for the headline news that he bought the black market kidney from Frank Benson to save the life of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Back when baby Joss was dying, Carly begged Jax to do whatever he had to do to save their child. That’s what he did. Of course, this is all a big history rewrite since GH history had Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) parents donating his kidney after his death. Even though General Hospital viewers watched the kid on life support and then dying, then-head GH writer Ron Carlivati resurrected him years later.
That led to this moment where Jax has to explain that he bought an illegal organ for their daughter. Really, Jax buying the kidney is not out of bounds considering Carly asked him to save their kid at all costs. That’s what Jax did. General Hospital spoilers say the big goof Jax made was not fessing up when Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) found Nelle. But Jax fought tooth and nail to hide the truth.
Now it’s all come back to bite Jax and after he reveals all to Carly and deals with the wrath of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Jax owes a visit to Nelle. Poor Nelle was just a kid when Frank Benson sold her kidney to Jax. She was a victim in all of this and Jax’s actions and Frank’s lies are what led Nelle to come to Port Charles and act out a misinformed revenge scheme against Carly.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Nelle will be stunned to learn that Jax arranged things with Frank and that Carly really was in the dark all this time. She’ll be stunned that she screwed Carly over for no reason when Jax was the architect of the problems in her life. This will lead Nelle to apologize to Carly and try to make amends. With Jax as the common factor in their hurts, maybe the adoptive sisters can begin to heal.
But the other question is whether Jax will also try and make amends to Nelle. The girl has a lifetime of bad health ahead of her and is broke while Jax is a millionaire. It seems like the least he could do is set her up a college fund to cover the cost of her education. Leaving her broke and with one kidney isn’t cool so let’s hope Jax offers an apology with something more behind it. What do you think? Does Jax owe Nelle more than a simple apology?
