General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a new character is headed to the ABC soap. Charlene Amoia will portray Rose Caldwell in upcoming new GH episodes. It looks like this is a short-term gig, but it’ll still be interesting to see what she brings to the table.
As of right now, Amoia is listed for two episodes on IMDB. Rose first appears on September 20 and she’ll be in more scenes on September 21. There’s always a chance that Rose could be called back for additional episodes, but let’s assume this is a brief arc. That’s our first clue as we work to figure out who this character might be.
There are two storylines going on where Rose would fit particularly well. For starters, we have Ava’s (Maura West) attempt to restore her appearance. It’s possible that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has duped Ava like Griffin (Matt Cohen) fears. However, they’ll have to repair Ava’s face somehow. Many General Hospital fans are ready to get Ava’s miracle over with.
GH isn’t going to make Maura West wear that mask forever, so things should pan out eventually. Rose Caldwell might work directly with Dr. Baronski or at least be part of this whole operation. General Hospital spoilers state that Ava will get good news on September 21. Could Rose be the one who delivers it?
It’s also possible that Rose is connected to a different scheme. She could easily be involved in the jewelry heists in Europe. The actress looks like she could pull off the part of an upscale criminal. General Hospital spoilers suggest that Valentin will manage to stay ahead of the game on September 21. Will Rose help him do that?
Of course, there are plenty of other ways for Rose to get in on the action. Whatever happens, she’ll undoubtedly keep a hot plot moving along. GH buzz hints that these stories may collide along the way. Valentin has several irons in the fire and he could get burned by all of them.
