General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton Did NOT Confirm He's the Real Jason Morgan – Twin Mystery Continues

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the twin saga will continue and despite some false gossip, Steve Burton (ex-Jason, Patient Six) did NOT confirm he’s the real Jason Morgan. That’s just fake news from the same writer that implied Maurice Benard (Sonny) was leaving GH, which isn’t happening either. The Jason Morgan mystery is still in play and Burton won’t be getting in trouble with the execs.

Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) recently posted a video on his Facebook page (see below). He’s part of a band called Port Chuck with Burton and a few others. During their road trip to Pittsburgh, Burton and Anderson joked around about Stone Cold and The Jackal being live. Their characters used those nicknames for years, so it’s understandable that they’d mention them.

After Burton made the statement, Anderson backed him up by repeating the comment and talking about making a hashtag for it. He then added Burton was “maybe Stone Cold,” but he was “definitely The Jackal.” Anderson even tossed out Andy and The Jackal as a hashtag option. It’s a reference to the other twin, Andrew. They were just joking about the storyline that’s heating up General Hospital.

Laura Wright (Carly) and Burton cracked similar jokes in their GH Facebook Live Chat. In fact, everyone who’s interviewed about the Jason twin story suggests that Burton may be Jason…or not. Why? Because that’s the plot we’re seeing on screen right now! The people of Port Charles still don’t have the answer.

Anderson certainly wasn’t trying to cover up anything. He was just being his adorable, funny self. Likewise, Burton’s statement didn’t lock him in as Jason Morgan. He’s entitled to use the Stone Cold nickname after being with the show for so long.

The rest of the twin story hasn’t played out yet, so no one can even be sure that Stone Cold was the real Jason. That could’ve been Drew roaming around PC after the ’96 accident. It was more of a “hey, we’re together again” kind of thing for Anderson and Burton anyway. Two actors who know each other well were having fun in a car. Cased closed!

General Hospital spoilers say there’s plenty of drama coming up for current Jason (Billy Miller) and Patient Six. If actual confirmation emerges on Patient Six’s identity, we’ll pass along updates. Stay tuned to ABC’s GH and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
