General Hospital (GH) spoilers have shown us some fantastic lawyers through the years, including Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Aleixs Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and now Nora Buchanan (Hillary B. Smith). During GH episodes this past week, Diane met Nora sitting at the Metro Court bar, and shared some vital information with Nora, not even knowing who she truly was. Both attorneys are sly, sneaky and clearly know the lay of the land, but which one is better?
General Hospital fans have watched as Diane Miller has time and time again taken on the courts and prosecution in cases against her alleged mob boss’s misdeeds and won nearly every case thrown at her. She is a tough a fierce lawyer and friend, who will defend anyone to the utmost of her ability.
Diane’s advantage is she personally knows most of her clients and she isn’t judgemental. She loves a challenge and is pretty much willing to do anything to win her case, just ask her fellow rival and best friend, Alexis Davis.
Nora Buchanan is brand new to the General Hospital cast, but she is very familiar to One Life to Live fans, and those who remember the now cancelled ABC soap opera, will never forget the court case Nora took on defending Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) and his frat brothers in the gang rape of Marty Saybrooke (Susan Haskell).
As sickening as the case was, Todd and the others won by a mistrial. It goes to show you that Nora is an incredible attorney and if anyone is worthy of standing up to Diane Miller, it definitely is Nora Buchanan.
Let’s see how dirty these two will fight in court to win the epic custody battle before them: Diane, of course representing Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) while Nora represents Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). All four have skeletons in their closet; it will be interesting to see whose skeletons affect the final decision.
