Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson Shun Critics For ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ – Refusing To Promote The Film?

Are Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson refusing to do publicity for their upcoming film, ‘Fifty Shades Darker?’ That’s what fans can’t help but wonder. With the film hitting theaters in a month, both fans and critics can’t help but notice that both Jamie and Dakota are nowhere in sight.

Producers are hoping that ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ will be able to top the $300 million dollars that ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ made back in 2015. Even though the film opened up to mixed reviews, many ‘Fifty Shades’ fans flocked to the theaters in droves to see it.

Fans loved seeing Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, while others thought they were horribly miscast. So does this mean that Jamie and Dakota are trying to avoid doing publicity for the movie?

No one knows for sure. But by now fans should at least be seeing Jamie and Dakota out and about, if not talking to the press about the movie. Even the paparazzi are having a hard time locating them. With only one month to go, they have a lot of work ahead of them if they plan on helping ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ smash records at the box office again.

In fact, some fans even think that Jamie Dornan might be trying to move past his role as Christian Grey in the ‘Fifty Shades’ franchise. Sources say he’s been desperate to land a new role in Hollywood for months now. Back in September he was supposedly in negotiations to play the role of Will Scarlett for an upcoming Robin Hood movie.

Jamie was also in talks to play Hal Jordan another Green Lantern film. So far, Jamie himself has not made any comments about the reports. There are also no reports indicating that he’s landed the roles. Still, many insiders say that Jamie is willing to do just about anything to land a role in an upcoming blockbuster film. He doesn’t want his fans remembering him as Christian Grey for the rest of his career.

What do you think? Are Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson refusing to do publicity for the movie? Are producers worried that ’Fifty Shades Darker’ is going to do worse than ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ at the box office? Do you plan on seeing the film when it comes out in theaters on Feb. 10th?
