The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) return could be imminent. We know that a fan favorite is making a comeback pretty soon. B&B viewers have definitely missed Caroline since she left for New York. Linsey Godfrey is a talented actress who deserves a spot on the CBS soap.
Thomas (Pierson Fode) is currently involved with Sally (Courtney Hope) and the show may want to follow through on that. Perhaps Caroline could reunite with another ex instead. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is busy trying to win Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) back, but that mission may fail. Brooke is still hurt over Ridge’s betrayal.
Plus, Bill (Don Diamont) has been incredibly patient and loyal. Brooke is going to look selfish and cruel if she turns her back on him now. That doesn’t mean B&B won’t go that route, but we should at least consider some other options.
Brooke and Bill’s wedding could actually happen. They could begin their future together and leave Ridge brokenhearted. That’s when Caroline could come back and make a last-ditch effort to win over Thomas. Since he’s smitten with Sally right now, Caroline may be out of luck as well.
Maybe Ridge and Caroline will bond over their misery. They could reconnect and remember the love they used to share. “CaRidge” was always a popular pairing for B&B. There was something about them that just seemed to work. It might be time to revisit this couple.
To solidify their reunion, The Bold and the Beautiful could change Douglas’ paternity. Medical marvels are common on soaps. Ridge was told that it was virtually impossible for him to father another child, even with a vasectomy reversal. Still, there could’ve been a mistake with the original procedure and the doctor’s later findings. Douglas could’ve been Ridge’s little miracle.
In fact, that could even be what prompts Caroline’s return. A health crisis could tip her off to Douglas’ true paternity. If B&B didn’t want to use that plot, they could simply make Caroline have a hunch. She might get a DNA test to be 100 percent certain and have some peace of mind. Then, surprise! Ridge could be the baby daddy.
If Caroline reveals that Douglas actually belongs to Ridge, it could help them bond. Meanwhile, Thomas could lean on Sally for support. He would undoubtedly be upset if he learned Douglas wasn’t his son after all. It would be a way of bringing both couples closer.
